What is Going ON?

I know today is Halloween, but this election season is like something out of the "Twilight Zone".

Can't you feel the insanity in the air? It's been building for four years and the Liberal Democrats are getting crazier as the election gets closer. They lost it back in December of 2000 when it was rightly and justly ruled that George W. Bush won the state of Florida and thereby won the election. Gore won the Popular vote, Bush won the Electoral vote. Looking back, I think that Gore's popular vote win was a lot more suspect, considering the voting irregularities in Democratic strongholds like St. Louis and Chicago, the "illegal alien vote" in California (ask Bob Dornan), and the strange voting regs in Wisconsin that allows a person to register and vote on the same day. Then there were the multiple vote college students, oh yeah, let's talk about the voter "fraud" and irregularities in Florida. The biggest problem with the Florida vote is that the opposition tried to steal the vote and that's what caused the problems.

When you hire people to cheat for you, you should make sure that they are somewhat literate. The illiterate cheaters are the ones who counted straight down 3, not looking at the name, and punched the BUCHANAN hole. Some then tried to change this and that's where the extra vote, invalidating the ballot, came in. The opposition was so sure of victory they couldn't believe it when they lost, that's why they tried to get the recount ONLY in certain strong Democrat precints, and started making op new rules in the process. The Florida Supreme Court then tried to legislate a decision, rather than interpret the existing legislation and reach a proper decision. The Supreme Court DID interpret the Constitution and laws correctly, and then the crybabies threw a 4 year tantrum.

The HATRED the left has for President Bush seems to be equal, at times, with the HATRED the Islamofascists have for anything not Moslem, or not Moslem ENOUGH. Honestly, look closely at the way things are going:

most of the Mainstream Media (MSM) has clearly chosen a side, and it is the Democrat side, They do not even attempt to act objective. As examples, look at the Dan Rather Memo affair - Why is he still even working? He was not admonished or censured or anything; Michael Moore's latest Fictional Documentary is adored by the media and accepted as fact, the same media refuse to accept sworn statements by Anti-Kerry veteran's concerning his antics during and after Vietnam, and brand them liars; "veteran" newsmen go ballistic during dialogues with conservatives, shouting down opposing ideas and branding everything "lies" (see Matthews v. Malkin, O'Donnell v. Swift Boat Vet O'Neill, and Donaldson v. Hannity, for starters). Attacks on Republican property, and persons: offices raided, windows broken, signs destroyed or torn from the hands of little girls and others, Iraq war veterans being assaulted and spat upon, etc. Left-wing millionaires (oxymoron?) like George Soros, and 5 or 6 other "big" donors, have donated over $70 million in "soft money" to the Kerry campaign, on the right, Bush "soft money" from about 6 rich guys is in the $25 million range. Then there's the "Get Out the Vote" controversey: the Democrats and allies are making a concerted voter registration effort, the only problem is it's an "ask no questions", "Check no credentials" kind of drive: a "recruiter" working for the NAACP in Ohio was paid in Crack cocaine (Washington Times, 20 October 2004) for signing up 100 fictitious names; the NAACP is also assisting convicted felons to regain the right to vote, and urging that ALL votes be counted even if the felons don't have the right to vote; False registrations, fake addresses and people long dead have all been registered to vote. Almost understandable in the 19th Century, an absolute disgrace and outrage in the 21st Century. The bottom line is, ladies and gentlemen, that our Democracy, which thrived on a two-party system, while relying on all of the other partys to participate and keep them honest, is now forced to be JUST a two-party system, at least for this election.

It has to be. America's future depends on it.

As President Bush said, concerning the "War on Terror", "You're either with us, or you're against us.", you have to choose sides, the same is true of this election: "You're either Right wing, or you're Left wing.", you have to choose, especially in the important states. Kerry and his minions have to be defeated, a message must be sent to the enemies of freedom, especially those who wrap themselves in the concept of freedom, but seek only to destroy it (ACLU, the UN) for their own greed or special agendas.

Voting for Perot in 1992 may have made some people feel good about "making a statement", but all it did was allow Bill Clinton to gain power, it happened again in 1996, and what did we gain on the right? Dead bodies from acts of terrorism in the first WTC attack, Oklahoma City, Africa, Saudi Arabia and the USS Cole to name a few. Acts of agression that received little to no response, and no restriction put on the movement of terrorists within our borders.

Terrorism must be crushed, obliterated if possible, and the only way to do this is by staying with someonewho has a successful history of fighting terrorism. Trust me, brothers and sisters, you will not lose your conservative soul, or Libertarian consciousness, or independent spirit by voting for George W. Bush, you will save your American Ass!

Yeah, it sure is, and the best way here would be for newbies trolls to stop posting all these "The Sky Falling! Don't Panic! We're All Gonna Die!" threads.

Nobody but a few newbie trolls and retreads are doing that, the rest of us know better.

Wrong newbie, DU knows the polls and their man is going down to defeat. In the meantime, FR has had a spat of people very recently register that want to weep and cry all the time while we are winning.

A few on FR need their hands held right now, even a bunch of oldtimers.

I think this piece does that.

Let them seek a bit of comfort.

Yeah, we need to do our duty and vote and stay focused. We cannot panic now. Yes, I know there are times I'm concerned if not downright scared, but it makes me more energetic to get out there and crawl on broken glass to vote. We cannot entertain a FRankenKerry victory so we need to close ranks and do our duty. Simple as that.
