What in hell is an ‘internet connected toothbrush’?
What good does it do?

Exactly. For what reason are these idiotic items being networked in the first place?
Just because someone has an idea that they think might make them rich doesn’t mean the idea is practical or even a necessity.

A history of your dental hygiene is required by the Ministry of Love.
It’s for your own good, of course.

Can you guess where those are manufactured and where the firmware is installed, just like your routers and other Internet of Things devices?

I have a great electric toothbrush that connects to an iPhone, via Bluetooth, I think.
But I've never activated that feature. I don't know how, and don't see the point.
I think it connects to an iPhone app that monitors your toothbrush usage, and offers tips on how to brush better, and how often. But again, I never downloaded the app.
The toothbrush can be used as a normal electric toothbrush.

Could you get them buzzing in sync and cause earthquakes? Or at least get Guam to flip over?
