IP/I.O.T. toothbrushes don’t exist yet....was a “hypothetical” during a speech apparently:
https://www.securityweek.com/3-million-toothbrushes-abused-for-ddos-attacks-real-or-not/
I would be crestfallen if this happened to me.
I would be crestfallen if this happened to me.
A wild rumor started by Bartlett Finchley. He’s always thinks the machines are out to get him (us).
-Millions of hacked toothbrushes used in cyber attack-
The strangest story of the year so far. Of course it is early in the year.
I heard about Internet connected chastity belts on which hackers disabled the unlock function.
Correction...they exist now...see post #18...just not used in a “DDOS” attack yet.
the internet of thingies strikes again!
And we wonder why the American public is in so much debt. I usually buy the 4 pack of store brand toothbrushes. If memory serves, I paid $1.99 for 4 toothbrushes.
Thanks. I’ll pass.
As an escalator that doesn’t work is just ordinary stairs-—if a WiFi toothbrush doesn’t work is it just an ordinary toothbrush?
I’m honestly rooting for a huge meteor.
How about ‘smart’ toilet brushes?
What kind of cyber network would they form?
*groan*
I’m glad I don’t use internet connect toilet paper. Who knows what might happen if that gets hacked.
I was asked today who I was rooting for at the Superbowl.
My first thought was the winners will be the terrorists...
I’ve been instructed that there’s not really any such thing - yet.
But the ‘Internet of Things’ is becoming vast.
I don’t even know why anybody wants their refrigerator connected to it...
Smart toothbrushes? Only for people dumber than a box of rocks.
How do you know when tech has gone too far? Toothbrushes with 2FA... lol
