Or maybe it’s because McDonald’s stole the idea from Burger Chef - which invented first the “fun burger” a “kids” hamburger in a box that had games and puzzles and then later the “fun meal” which was a burger, fries and a cookie.
Burger Chef also had the first movie tie-in with Star Wars.

Oh, wow. I forgot about the Star Wars tie-in! I remembered building the C3PO model from the box, but I didn't remember it was Burger Chef!
My parents use to take me there as a treat. Later I found out they took me because those models you punched out of the fun meal boxes kept me quiet for hours!

They use to sell a sandwich called the ‘Chicken Club’. omg it was fantastic. Grilled chicken, tomato, bacon, lettuce and mayo. No one have even come close to the flavor. ahhhh good times back then.
