Interesting. A long time ago I was seeing a gal I was crazy about. She was complaining of headaches because she ‘had to quit drinking coffee’. I asked why she had to quit. She told me she enrolled in some clinical trial for skin cream or something and they were paying her $300. I gave her $300 and a cup of coffee. She kinda resented it though. The printed magazine died last year. It had been on life support for 10 or more years at least. Reading of its decline various things were tried to keep it going. Covid was maybe used as an excuse to end print editions. Hefner is gone and what remains are the bunny logo which sort of sells and raises some revenue.
