This article was shallow, elitist, self-contradicting claptrap.

* Reds and blues reversed by USA Today several years ago after the "red" Democrats complained they were being stereotyped.
----------------------------------------------------
Maybe, maybe not.
----------------------------------------------------
The choice of which party is represented by which color was somewhat arbitrary. I was perhaps influenced by maps that I had seen in the distant past (I still remember the solid blue field of Ronald Reagan's re-election in my hometown newspaper in 1984 - I was 14 at the time).

"Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections – FAQ".

The color coding we're familiar with today didn't stick until the iconic (and extremely lengthy) election of 2000, when The New York Times and USA Today published their first full-color election maps. The Times spread used red for Republicans because "red begins with r, Republican begins with r," said the senior graphics editor Archie Tse, "it was a more natural association."

Why are Republicans red and Democrats blue?

It got started on TV, the original electronic visual, when NBC, the first all-color network, unveiled an illuminated map — snazzy for its time — in 1976. John Chancellor was the NBC election night anchor who explained how states were going to be blue if they voted for incumbent Republican Gerald Ford, red if they voted for Democratic challenger Jimmy Carter.

“White” this, “White” that.

Someone should tell the author that Mitt Romney got a higher percentage of the white vote - 59% - than Trump got - 57%.

Trump did better with Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians than Romney did.

I was referring only to USA Today. And, yes, they made the Democrats blue on their election maps after complaints by Democrats that they were being characterized as “red.”

Re: Oblivious to her own history

Also oblivious to the fact that all her wealthy non-white friends have left their country-of-birth and moved to the USA!

Did she mention that Statesman Obama’s V.P. Pedo Joe Biden thinks every 7-11 is run by Indians?

Would she be shocked to know White People own and run 7/11’s?

The Author appears to be a Racist.

The color assignations seems to have been happenstance, nationally.

Too bad we’re adopted the exact opposite of the rest of the world.

Stupid article. “Suits, probably designed by Armani or Alfred Dunhill and cocktail gowns again designed by Ralph Lauren or Roberto Cavalli announced the prosperity.” The foolish writer fails to realize that China and India produces nothing of interest. People in India and China wish to sell American products and then purchase Italian clothes. And they pretend to be so smart.

If immigrants legal and illegal are so inspired to come to America because they have a certain knowledge of opportunity, are they also repulsed enough by our inherent racism to avoid coming?

I mean, the people of Haiti and Indonesia must have been exasperated the evil white Devil was coming to provide aid and relief to desperate humans and even more incensed the evil Jews of Israel would also join in the effort with their search and rescue skills and lovable dogs, who search for those trapped in the rubble.

It must have really incensed them after all the manpower and money expended to help a fellow human being, we didn’t even have the decency to leave them with a bill for our efforts to help a fellow human being

No qualifiers. Your race didn’t matter to us, your nationality didn’t matter to us. Your religion didn’t matter to us.

We came, we did what no one would or could do for them and then just left when they could do for themselves what they could not before we showed up.

You are welcome, fellow human being...

We love you, as God expects us to love you...

“Ave nice day...”

I used to live near and patronize a convenience
store operated by a Paki/Indian. He could be
counted on to smile, chat, and shortchange you.

Summary:

Prosperous Liberal Indians take Uber driven by whitey.

Gossip about whitey driver, smirk that he can never achieve what they have.

Notice that there are only white servers at Holiday gathering to their Indian Elites in America.

Laugh that the event’s cost is more than what whitey’s earn in a year.

Conclude their Indian superiority is pissing off whitey thereby electing the Nazi Trump.

America, the only place where Americans can’t be Americans.

Yep.

I find this true more among Indian women.

I work with a few and the women... arrogant, judgmental and so darn critical of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.

They act as if they are paid to do so.

I had an employee in Canada who married an Indian woman.
After they were married, she told him she grew up in India with servants, and if he wanted the toilet cleaned he could do it himself.

It was back in 1990 that, scanning the graduation programme for Illinois Institute of Technology, I noticed that most of the names receiving Master of Science degrees were Asian-sounding (Indian, Chinese), while most of those receiving Master of Business Administration were English or Northern European-sounding,

What the author of the article missed is that the (younger) Uber-driving student is likely to be the (older) Indian technologist's boss in the near future, and forever after.

The "whites" had moved on. Even then, a lot of the cushy computer programming jobs were (temporarily) filled by nerdy high-school graduates who found themselves enriched by going directly to employing their coding skills rather than "wasting" their first four to five years getting a broader-based college degree.

But their overall life strategy was short-sighted, wasn't it? Their degreed counterparts eventually were and still are the overall winners. And the goal posts are still moving.

White people can’t compete for software jobs with Indians because Indians are the most extremely racist people on earth and have seized control of the hiring processes here.

Full stop.

Talent wise Americans blow Indians out of the water and it’s not a close contest. Indians are terrible programmers in general, and that’s when they’re not faking their experience and credentials altogether.

The most attractive thing about Indian workers to US companies is their contentment with being placed in a status of indentured servitude and acceptance of vastly below-market wages if it gets them into the USA.
