As if there weren’t enough violent criminals to fill our prison cells

These people deserve heavy fines. The taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for them to be imprisoned

You are absolutely correct....wasting time to fill a prison up with people like this.

I’d give them a fine (maybe upwards to $100k), and force them to put in 200 man-hours of charity-support work.

Yeah the taxpayer should, as long as the academics involved (all of them, not just a few scapegoats) are rooted out and incarcerated as well.

Put them in with MS13.

Money well spent.

These people are in trouble for “buying” their way into college.

Having them “buy” their way out of it reinforces bad behavior.

A “prison consultant”? Seriously? That’s a new one.

I agree, there’s no way these people should go to prison. I’m still questioning why not a single name of any prominent politician whose children got into a top-tier school, although all of them seem to somehow. Take Al Gore III for example. According to a USSS agent who knew the Gore family well, young Mr. Gore was always in trouble, was a drunk and not terribly smart, but he somehow got into Harvard. George W. Bush, by his own admission, was a C student, but got into Yale and Harvard.

You can bet your ass that there was some very selective prosecution going on in this admissions “scandal”. Neither Lori Loughlin nor Felicity Huffman are exactly Hollywood “A-Listers”; are they the most notable performers involved? I seriously doubt it.
