"They" died long ago. And the people referring to themselves as "us" were never stolen or sold - the people who that happened to also died long ago. People who weren't even alive when the crime happened trying to pretend that they are the victims and blaming other people who also weren't alive when the crime happened - pure, unadulterated nonsense.

I think I shall sue the last remaining portions of the Austro-Hungarian empire who put weapons into the hands of my ancestors marched them forth into battle against each other. My grandfather finally freed himself just before World War 1 really broke out and left with his wife and settled in Toledo and later up in northern Michigan. He was a poor man who fill potholes for work, and milked cows eventually for a living, and raised 13 children who survived the depression. The men were all taken into the military during World War II and afterwards, having not lost a single male child during the war, the family was able to establish themselves on Solid Ground financially.

We were slaves (Slavs) but we worked our way out of that bondage and the conditions of the poor. It was hard work that did it, and fortitude, and love along with responsibility. It is a great Testament to my grandfather and even those before him; whom I do not even know of.
