I agree. I’m happy he survived the horror of the concentration camp. I just wish he would honor and respect the culture of the country that rescued him at the cost of many young Americans. We are a country of laws and those laws enabled his salvation.

There is no moral equivalence to what happened in Germany during the war, and what Trump is trying to do. The Nazis removed people from their homes and killed or imprisoned them; Trump is just trying to have people stay in their homes until they have legally been approved to come to America. Trying to claim they are they same is deliberate dishonesty.

Huge difference. Here are a few: Germany treated Jews as second-class citizens, even though they acquired German citizenship. America treats illegal aliens breaking the law better than American citizens, giving them handouts and a pass from judicial treatment while punishing American citizens for same crimes. Illegal aliens send money out of America, while Germany confiscated Jewish holdings and didn’t allow Jews to take valuables out of the country. Illegal aliens are allowed to protest in the streets and do mayhem without fear, while Germany did not allow protest by Jews and rounded them up into concentration camps without being charged criminally. The list goes on and on. I’m sick of hearing liberals complain about President Trump trying to scope out foreigners coming in who wish to do us harm.

Well, Auschwitz was liberated by the Soviet Army, not the Americans, but I get your point about the rest of it. This guy comparing Trump to Hitler is a good illustration of why we should not give excess deference to the opinions of bitter, traumatized individuals.
