FRANKFORT, Ky. Kentuckys Republican governor said blood might be shed if Democrat Hillary Clinton is elected president.
Speaking to the annual Values Voter Summit on Saturday in Washington, Bevin said he was asked if the country could ever recover if Clinton were elected president.
I do think it would be possible, but at what price? At what price? The roots of the tree of liberty are watered by what? The blood, of who? The tyrants to be sure, but who else. The patriots, Bevin said, referencing a quote from Thomas Jefferson....

Was alcohol involved?
Or perhaps some truth.
It would be very painful for patriotic Americans to watch their country run by a criminal family and law enforcement continue to look the other way and make excuses for why the criminals won’t be indicted.
Obama’s Presidency has lead to blood shed.
He’s probably right.
It's just more WaPo agitprop. We'd be disappointed if they didn't.
With good aim, more tyrants’ blood will be spilled than ours.
Bevin is right. A Clinton presidency combined with a left wing Supreme Court will set up this country up for bloodshed in more ways than one and a possible civil war because there will be a breaking point and states will want to leave the union. Are we going to sit by and just let a left wing SCOTUS take away our 2nd Amendment, our political speech, our religious liberty, and force feed us all the most radical anti American left wing ideas through Judicial fiat with the constitution used as a fig leaf to provide cover to their abuses of power? I certainly won’t. I want a peaceful revolution at the ballot box but we have to be honest with ourselves. The left is not known for its moderation and they will have in a Clinton presidency a level of political power not seen in America since FDR and maybe greater than that.
Those who are dismissing the absolute existential threat a Clinton Presidency represents when combined with the absolute power of a far left Supreme court are just not living within reality. Do we think that the left will simply stand down and be reasonable? No what they will do is use the court combined with executive overreach to transform America in ways only Barack Obama could dream.
Almost a certainty, I think. Among other things, she has it in for gun owners. And many gun owners have already decided that the 2nd is the hill to die on. Literally. Remember what happened to the Branch Davidian kooks they decided to attack near Waco? Burned alive for daring to defend themselves against an armed assault—an assault that did not have to take place. That was meant to be a message. Many Americans may have very difficult decisions to make in the near future.
haven’t the RATs been saying same thing about a Trump presidency ?
I think he is right. The Clinton body county will ramp up and when it is becoming obvious to the people in general it will morph into disappearances and arrests of perceived enemies of the State. The Show trials will happen some time after that. It will be complicated by the USA losing ground big time all over the world as she debilitates the military. Alternatively she will take her new position of Emperor seriously and bleed the country’s dying economy to make the military very large again and go for external conquest. A big war is a suitable oven that can be fueled with dissidents.
Led.
Bevin is just your latest establishment RINO pretending to be a Tea Party reformer. He was for Cruz in the primaries and was a particularly nasty NeverTrumper. Check out some of his comments about Trumo from a few months ago. Extremely snarky.
A real fraud. But apparently he sees the handwriting on the wall .
Good synapsis, add Iranian and North Korean nuclear threats and a radical Muslim and illegal invasion to the list and bloodshed is inevitable. Hillbillies have good ‘horse sense’.
Said it before and I’ll say it again. I want a republican president and a Republican Congress. And their first order of business is to outline the legal procedure for a state to leave the Union. That will knock off a lot of the bullcrap that goes on in DC.
I don't think so.
He’s right. It might.
Gov. Bevin says at RNC he sees comparisons between Trump and himself
