Arming Our Enemies,
warezaholic1

Posted on 08/02/2014 8:12:25 PM PDT by warezaholic1

I am new here and I hope my comments are not taken out of context or I'm thought to be a horrible person if my words lean in a racist direction. I in no way pretend to be some political science student or preacher, but sometimes an old man just has to vent!

I am a Viet Nam Vet Discharged in 1975 and then as now, it seems that the USA can never really have a clear perception of "who our friends are and who are the Devils on the world stage". And ever since that experience I have been trying to believe in our leaders but history show's us the J.Q. Public we are usually put in the same friend or foe predicament mentioned being that most are looking after their OWN or the special interest "contributors".

With that said; I just saw an internet headline quoting "Is Big Saudi Arms Sale a Good Idea?"

Am I the only one that wonders why we keep selling/giving arms/weapons to nations/factions/(rulers of the week) only to see it, months or years later, Come to bite us right in the proverbial ass? How many times have we come to the aid of the "little guy" only to have those "leaders Of The Hour" change in a historical blink, and the weapons and/or training we furnished to be used against us further down the ever changing road.

I would say that in all of recorded history, there has a ghostly minimum of stability within most of the Middle-east and many other historically warring countries (I look back on the South American conflicts of the 60's and 70's) when Drug Enforcement friendlies turned DEA assassins literally "overnight" just for ONE example.

WILL WE EVER LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES? Just let warmongers fight it out for themselves and let time tell who are the bad guys or "Evil Doers" and who will make world hero's! ! !

Just my rantings: Thanks for reading

What do you expect? Liberals have armed our enemies for GENERATIONS! And I don’t mean just the putrid rats in the DemoKrat party, but the state department goons of the Republican Party as well.

Mistakes have been made in the past, but today the arming of our enemies is brazen, known, co-ordinated and ordered by traitors and seditious scum.

We only have to look to Eisenhower’s warnings on the Military-Industrial complex to see your warning in good company.

You8’ll find a lot of people who feel exactly as you do on this forum.

With the current group in the House and the Senate there isn’t much hope that anything they do is in our best interest. Not in immigration, arming and staffing the military or anything to do with foreigners. We can forget about anything that comes out of 1600, he’s a Muslim and that who he supports.

If you’ve got any good ideas on what you think should be our next move go ahead and post them for all to see.

That gets discussed here frequently. John McLame went to Syria to arm the rebels who are now setting up the caliphate in Irag and now Lebanon. Joe Six Pack, who gets his slanted news from the alphabet networks, is ignorant of what goes on in the real world and votes for these idiots. We are beyond the point of no return I’m afraid.

John McInsane is a facilitator of terrorist armies who murder Christians and rape their children in the Middle East. Were there justice, he would be before a court, and not one of the kangaroo courts of 2014 America.

Thanks for your Military Service!

Welcome to FR!

You did just fine with this thread, Congratulations!

Validation is rare for a Conservative when watching, listening or reading the Domocrat Brotherhood’s Left Stream Media outlets.

Lately, even some talking heads on the FOX News Channel are difficult to relate to.

FR is a great site with multiple posting of articles from many field of interest, allowing many of us pressed for time to stay up with what is going on in the World.

You may call it “ranting” but most of us would called it a well-reasoned point of view.

First, from me, welcome and hope you enjoy your participation.

In response, you are right but is there a real choice? Take Saudi Arabia (SA) as the example you use. From the end of WW2 on, they have pulled black gold out of the ground and used very little of it themselves. Instead, they and the Islamic Middle East founded OPEC, nationalized their production companies and become purveyors of a drug that the World needs. During the Cold War (1?), moves by one side concerning oil had to be countered by the other. Russia / Soviet Union sponsored and was the Godfather for the United Arab Republic that took in Egypt and Syria in 1958 and had a significant effort to draw in Iraq as well. This threatened Israel, Jordan, SA and the Gulf States, so the United States renew its aid to SA and has never stopped since then.

While SA Politically is a stabilizing influence on the Western side in the boiling Arab Street neighborhood, religiously they are the purveyors of the Wahhabi sect of Suni Islam, IMO one of the most militant and regressive segments of that religion. I understand the reasons that the "Sau'ud" Family does it but the fact that Mecca and Medina are under that control with the oil wealth makes me shudder. The shudder gets worse when I contemplate most of the alternatives - very ugly indeed!

So again my response to you is what is our choice? I fully recognize that it sounds like I am favoring the status quo BUT I can see no good outcome coming from a decline to participate in foreign affairs. Obama is almost there but his problem is that he keeps stalling until bad things happen and then he does the STUPID thing. So, for me, it looks like we need to keep pouring money out to the undeserving and trying to muddle through. To a certain extent we do learn from our mistakes but there are always new ones that show themselves in the light of 20/20 hindsight!

Sorry to say, no good answers unless you want to become a sheep-herder in New Zealand, they probably comparatively little to worry about until Peter Jackson comes around again.

Warez nOOb?

Welcome chump. Put on your flame suit and be sure to keep a thick skin.

We’re highly opinionated, certain in our belief but, ready to be proven wong.

We hate racist bass turds.

love our God, country, families and bold firm we are a constitutional republic.

None of our rightz come from man but, are unalienable and God given. The Constitution spells them out and enumerates only 17 things the Federal Government shall do, everything else is left to the states and the people.

the 2nd ammendment is comprised of two concepts:

The militia and “the right of the people” to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

There is an actual historical roadmap anyone can read to understand how each amendment came into being and their order in the constitution was purposeful and makes sense.

Personally, I do not like Moslems.

They have been out to rule the world, since their 7th century inception and oddly seem happy being stuck in a 1,400 year old loser concept.

The world is screwed without the USA and U.S. Males. We are the bulwark against total chaos and we get off on fighting, kicking the crap out of bullies and we even like to rebuild stuff we broke.

Israel is the only Democratic Nation in the Middle East.

Arabs only seem to be motivated to blow stuff and live in squalid conditions.

Jews invent stuff, make stuff and live better than 99.999% of their neighbors.

we love Israel.

You’ll figure out the rest of it.

I loathe John McCain.
But he was perfect for the 2008 elections, just as Romney was the perfect candidate for the 2012 elections:
— both perfectly match what the Republican party, as a whole, stands for.
