I remember watching this interview live (click). So polite, honest, purposeful, and well spoken. My respect for Chris Kyle is immense.

Dear Lord, we ask that You comfort the family and friends Chris Kyle has left behind even as You welcome him to eternal life. We are thankful for the time he was given to us. He had determined his purpose in life was to protect his fellow man, and he embraced that purpose without reservation. Many owe their lives to him and are saddened that he has left this world first.
