Not necessarily. If All Red's charges are shown to be trivial and the press does not run with them, then there is no need to go nuclear on Obama and risk generating a backlash.
If (and it’s a big if) Trump has anything, it’s almost certainly related to the documents he challenged Obama to release, not a divorce filing.
More likely, Trump is trying just to make himself useful by applying his own penchant for attention-whoring to overshadow Allred’s similar, but less-well-honed vanity.
