Which is basically another kind of utilitarian argument, one which may be more or less perceptive than the utilitarian argument that posits Romney would be more open to conservative influence of his administration than Obama would be. Nobody’s setting up the straw man here that Romney is any wonderful shakes in the conservative department himself. He is not. He is at best a worrisome waffler. Still! We have two doors to choose between, one of which we will be pushing our shoulders against in 2013. I choose the door which I believe will be easier to push.

Nonsense. Romney will be bound by an increased conservative majority in the Congress. Obama will know no such bounds. Return to Earth, your oxygen is running low.
