In the past 12 months, the governments of Australia, the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany have warned their citizens to stay out of almost 65% of Mexico's national territory.

Just a couple of thought.

The best our Lobby clients can come up with is gun-walker , and the Great Wall of America.

We have a bunch of professional nation builder worker bees, home, coming home ; out of work.

Also a sorta Mexistan just a bit to the south of my home.

Consider a set of additional American southern states, swept (mostly) clean of the of the gulag Mex of today?

I have an old artist friend who is part American Indian he could pass for a Mexican in appearance and speech but after living in Mexico for many years, is moving back to the USA. He says the situation is untenable even for a cagey old survivor like himself. His ancestors survived the frontier but this is worse then the old wild West.

Was this info ever reported by the lame stream “media”? Or did they hide this like they do all other inconvenient facts?

No doubt they'll find enough dummies to go down there.
Whole country should be declared out of bounds. Until the place gets cleaned up, traffic should be blocked in both directions.

I took my family to Cozumel this past July/August during low season. Had a great time. Lots of friendly people. We rented a house in a local neighborhood and had absolutely no troubles. Wife is ready to go back.
All that said, there are lots and lots of places in Mexico I’d not go, much less take the family.
Mexico is in desparate need of help, and a great candidate for nation building. Its obviously a logistically much simpler operation than projecting to Afghanistan. We have bunches of Spanish speakers in service so no need to spend tons of money on interpreters. We’ve already identified the more reliable elements within their armed forces, and have tons of intel on the bad guys.
Could we include Calderone’s head on a platter in the desired endstate?

The Mexican drug cartels would not exist were it not for the U.S. market. We refuse to win the drug war at home. I don't know why we would expect the Mexicans to do any better. In fact, it's worse than us just not winning the WOD; we finance the opposition.

I'm open to a discussion about decriminalization provided that we simultaneously got the government out of the enabling business. That would mean a clean drug test to qualify for any and all social welfare benefits, and a ruthless cold-turkey, pick and shovel response to any who fail. You want to do drugs, you'd better be able to hold your job because you're not going to get food stamps, Medicaid, housing assistance, unemployment, etc., and you lose your right to vote. And if you have kids and need assistance, we'll solve your kids' problem by putting them in an orphanage until you get cleaned up and find a job.

None of the legalizers seem to want the tough love half of the loaf. Their plan seems to be to legalize the drugs and run up the tab on the taxpayers to pay the benefits. A lot, and perhaps the bulk, of our social welfare and criminal justice spending is already drug related, and legalization without serious sanctions will just enshrine the tyranny of worker drones who are taxed to the eyeballs to support the self-incapacitated drug culture. This is already epidemic. I don't want to make it worse.

Plan B would be to secure the border. I'd put enough police/military down there to ensure that no illegal without wings is able to get in, and I'd inspect every car, truck, and rail car. Expensive, yes; but it's one federal jobs program I could support. I'd explain to the Mexicans that we are at war against a common enemy, and that Mexicans who come in legally and clean are most welcome. The other kind will be shot at the border and their heads affixed to stakes along the border fence.
