Question for Palinistas. What will you say when...

...Palin endorses John McCain?

Top ten...

1) She's just "playing the game". Standing on principle and voting the RINO's out is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with Sarah becoming prez.

2) If Sarah says supporting RINO's is okay, that's good enough for me. The Messiah is infallible and what do I know?.

3) She's not being inconsistent, she's making a tactical retreat, but hey that's politics.

4) A smart move by the smartest woman in the world.

5) She didn't want to but the dims threatened to file an ethics complaint if she didn't.

6) She's not quiting, she's reloading.

7) What endorsement? That wasn't an endorsement she was repaying a political favor. Everyone does it.

8) That was part of her master plan to make dims and the MSM fear her even more...if that's even possible.

9) C'mon, McCain wasn't THAT bad...

10) Who cares? Look at those LEGS!

“I see Sarah agreeing to be on the ticket last year as a shrewd move.”

So she was willing to help put a RINO in the White House on the slight chance he might expire and then she could be “Queen of the world”?

Not realy a ringing endorsement.

The only thing I would mention in your statement is I can see her not going near Simcox. He did a lot of harm to the minuteman movement with his fundraising scandal and he burned bridges here at FR when he did his live thread only to insult anyone who dared question him. IMHO, he came across as an ass.

Thanks Chris, at least one Palin supporter is willing to think ahead and ponder the greater complexities of politics instead of mouthing “BURN DOWN THE TENT” crap.

err, no, she was willing to try to help put a RINO in the White House in order to block the election of a Marxist. Also, if the votes went to McCain, that means the overall voting trend would have gone "R" and the Dems may not have the majorities they do now.

You really need to learn how to play chess.. this checkers way of looking at the world is a real stumbling block for you.

Bob you truly are a sexist ass. Why do you think she views the presidency as a “queen” position?

Big assumption on your part. Just come out and admit you are jealous of her. It is the first step to recovery.

This was somewhat discussed on FR a few weeks ago.
A lot hinges on whether JD Hayworth does in fact challenge
McCain. I know ALL conservatives in AZ would likely vote for Hayworth over McCain. My assumption a few weeks ago was that the MSM , and probably even Cable will find a way to ask her, strictly in order to be to play it and twist it to whatever their agenda is at the moment:create animosity with McCain, or hamper the chances of Hayworth (for what IT’S worth) if it comes to that. My thought was that , while I KNOW her endorsement/support of McCain would “help”
him , FOR THE SECOND TIME, there may be a mutual decision and agreement by both of them to be satisfied with a statement from her like, “John McCain is a great candidate on his own, and he
really doesn’t need an endorsement from me to win again.”
If Hayworth comes on strong and starts gaining popularity as the “real” Conservative (not hard when you’re facing McCain) he may well win on his own, but at that point Palin’s support of McCain wouldn’t hurt her short or long run/ Most people would just consider it natural payback for J McC’s introducing her to the American public, however poorly it worked out. I can’t see a scenario where Palin would EVER support Hayworth and speak against McCain, even implicitly.

“She respects the man too much. Read her book. She states clearly that she has a deep respect and affection for the man.”

Ya, but he’s a RINO. Are we working to run the RINO’s out of town or are we going to make excuses so Sarah doesn’t have to feel uncomfortable around McCain?

Your either with the program or agin it. There’s no in between at this point in time.

McCain is running ads touting his cosnervative creed on the radio station that carries JD Hayworth’s show. The money for those ads come from the NRSC. Therefore, should Freepers stop donating to the GOP and instead donate to 3rd parties?

For the same reason they don’t say “King Elizabeth”.

I'm sorry, but I've never been much of a Palin supporter. After all, IMO, if she's good enough for Juan McCain, she is NOT good enough for me. I like some of the things that she has said in the past, especially when she complimented Rep. Ron Paul, who I had hoped would have won the GOP Primary. I voted for Pastor Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party after Rep. Paul lost the nomination.

Tks VR - hadn’t seen that comment from Jim R. Sadly for some PDS is permanent and apparently incurable.
