A local Ft. Collins man was charged with sexual assault and "domestic violence harrassment" after his wife complained to police that on numerous occasions in the past year she awoke at night to find him "having sex or oral sex" even though she had told him this seemed like rape to her. The husband also admitted to taking nude photos of her while she slept.

::By this same logic... if she were to spend money her told her not too, wouldn't that constitute theft?
Part of that would depend, I suppose, on whether or not she earned any of the money or had legitimate access to the money (her name on the credit cards/checking account) or did she take it out of his wallet? He could certainly report it to the cops and see where it gets him.
My wife constantly spends money I ask her not to. But I've never thought that gave me the right to force sex on her when she told me she wasn't interested.::
I totally agree. One of my responsibilities in my marriage is to proved FREELY to my family so that my wife does not have to WRENCH it from me.
Nor should I have to wrench ANYTHING from her. However, her interest should be in pleasing you just as yours is pleasing her. Just because she is "not interested" is no excuse. As a husband, I do many things that "I'm not interested in"....because it's the right thing to do.

Not all at. I read quite well. Are you able to answer a direct question? If so, let's try it again.
If your husband walked behind you and pinched your butt and that pinch was not wanted by you, would you call the cops?

I hope this does not come across as condescending, because it's not meant to. If a woman is spending all day taking care of the children and doing all the housework, does the man help a little? Even if just to get the children ready for bed? Or to help clean up the kitchen? While men find sex relaxing, if a woman is expecially tired it can just seem like another chore. When I was child I used to laugh about the nursery rhyme about men's work ending at break of day, but women's work never ends.
As I said, I am just showing what the other viewpoint might be in cases like this. If we could all be Titus women it would be wonderful. It really is a lot.

And so, we are still dealing with reading comprehension problems, I see. Or are you just obsessed and disrespectful?

Just because she is "not interested" is no excuse
There are a variety of reasons why a woman might not be interested in sex - anything from headaches to bad days. If a woman is perpetually not interested, I would suspect that would cause problems in the marriage, but I wouldn't want my wife having sex with me just because "it's the right thing to do."

I didn't say I disapproved, I am just saying it can be a crime if someone pushes the issue.
Honey Texas can't be any worse than a bike rally.

You know, we've had good and bad times financially, but the thought of 'Taking What Was Mine' never really entered into it. Times are good now, 2 kids, a good job 2 waaaay to fast cars in the garage (And a SAAB :) ), but we were just as happy together when times were more lean. And on the weekends...she lets me race. :D

It is HUGE for a woman and a HUGE sacrifice. I fully understand that. It also takes HUGE faith to follow a womans path in scripture. Much more difficult than men. Yes, as a husband and a father, I spend all the time I'm able to with my family and there is no job in the house I have not done to help her or the kids. That said, it is no easy task being the sole provider. Men as designed to work....earn their keep by the sweat of their brow. You want to kill a man slowly...destroy his livelyhood. Knowing if he fails the whole family falls is HUGE. Knowing dinner was not on time will not bring bill collectors to the door. Knowing he can't afford to provide security for his family is HUGE. Knowing little Johnny didn't get a bath last night will not bring thiefs thru the window. Men step in front of danger for their family...ready and willing to die. It is genetic from God. Women will not normally do this for their husband...their kids, Oh yeah for sure, but not hubby and not expected by hubby. Men and women are wired by design to be diffent, but when placed together are PERFECT. When women understand men are NOT to be like them....life is GOOD for everyone.

LOL!
Good for you.
I screwed up and got married for sex, pre-Christ, and it's been interesting since. However, I do believe that the general trend might actually, possibly be 'UP'.

ps, I'm not bitter, my wife NEVER lets me forget I'm a REAL man.....She wakes me up :) So I'm confused here... you pay your prostitute wife to wake you up?

It can't be rape, we're married
He was beeing flippant but essentially that's correct. Legally, it should not be rape. The courts need to stay out of the bedroom. If she doesn't want to be with the fella she can divorce him.

Why is she sleeping nude under these circumstances? That was to be my question. She says he's raping her regularly, and then she crawls into bed naked with him? The judge should throw this out.
