Trump: ‘Not the time’ for Greene’s effort to boot Johnson as Speaker

Former President Trump on Wednesday said it was “not the time” for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) attempt to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) from the top job in the House, warning the effort displayed “disunity” in an election year.

Trump gently criticized Greene, one of his most ardent supporters in the House, moments after the House overwhelmingly voted to torpedo the congresswoman’s measure to oust the GOP leader.

“I absolutely love Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s got Spirit, she’s got Fight, and I believe she’ll be around, and on our side, for a long time to come,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “However, right now, Republicans have to be fighting the Radical Left Democrats, and all the Damage they have done to our Country.”

“With a Majority of One, shortly growing to three or four, we’re not in a position of voting on a Motion to Vacate,” Trump continued. “At some point, we may very well be, but this is not the time.”

> … when is the “right time” ? <

You just have to wait. It’s like the sign below. Tomorrow is the time. But tomorrow never comes. Because whenever you walk into the bar, it’s today. It’s never tomorrow.

And what message was that. Eleven voted for him to vacate? I would bet he took it as a win. A huge win. It sorta is.

“And what message was that”

The message is that he has been and continues to be a traitor to the USA [e.g. $6 Billion to Hamass and NOTHING to closing the border].

YMMV

Donald not being very helpful again

This is part of Q's plan. Johnson is a high-level military operative who's going to blow the lid on the Deep State, and then Trump will become President and put the crown on his head like Napoleon.

Johnson is no better than a Democrat. The D’s are running the House even now.

Trump is right of course because there are no votes to replace him with anyone better. It’s just a bunch of noise that grew tiring a month ago

Without a supermajority in the House and Senate or majorities in both houses and the Presidency, there’s little the Republicans can do apart from blocking Dem initiatives. That’s actually a huge win, even if it’s not nearly enough.

Pelosi didn’t have a large majority in the House and look what she did. The Republicans are spineless. No one will go to jail for their crimes. Fauci I bet is working with WHO right now to turn our sovereignty to them.

***********”

Trump is trying to herd a party of back stabbing cowards, towards unified warfare against Biden & the radical democrats.

Which if properly done, could lead to a Republican House, Senate, and The 45th President becoming The 47th President.

It wouldn’t be a panacea but could lead to incremental improvement spiritually, politically & economically.

Marjorie Taylor Greene humiliated after her effort to oust Mike Johnson spectacularly fails and Democrats join Republicans in vote to save the speaker

Donald not being very helpful again ....

Not going to disagree with Trump here. The Republican party is stuck on stupid.

Replacing the speaker will just get us another piece of trash. The system is broken.

Donald Trump Jr. said Johnson is no friend of ours.

He referenced the spending and debt

This vote was not about conservative principle. It was a foreign policy disagreement. And very few Republicans wanted to cancel culture Mike Johnson over an irrelevant foreign aid bill.

Had Johnson passed a law upholding Roe v. Wade or some other more important matter then things would be different.

>>”Donald not being very helpful again ....”

Trump is being very helpful. Trump understands how doing this now could backfire in a big way. Notice also, that he said that removing Johnson might make sense in the future. This is Trump’s most explicit indication that he’s not backing Johnson because he wants Johnson to remain in his position, but just doesn’t think it’s the right time to be pushing for his removal with 6 months left till an election.

The border being open is the executive's decision to unlawfully abuse the asylum system to allow every illegal immigrant to apply for asylum. No law passed by Congress or funding or not-funding can change that. Any change to immigration laws is impossible at the moment.

The only Constitutional remedy is impeachment of Mayorkas, Biden, or both. Those are politically impossible.

The other option is states declare an invasion and start deporting them themselves. They would have to defy Federal courts to do that, face a cutoff of Federal funds by the regime, or even a clash with Federal law enforcement. There are no politicians with the cojones to risk that.

Basically, regarding the border we're screwed unless Trump wins.

As far as the Dems go, if they get control of the House they will pass a bill to ban Trump as a supposed insurrectionary. That's to start. Next is amnesty and citizenship for the +25 million illegals. Even more spending. New election laws designed to hamstring Republicans, etc.

We are inches away from a one-party dictatorship as it is: Dem control of the House could make that an accomplished fact.

“All this did was show Johnson that he cannot be touched.”

Johnson cannot be touched, as long as he has the support of the majority of the democrat reps and continues taking orders from Chuck, Nancy and Hakeem
