How did you let it get so bad at Twitter? How did it become so captured with out you being able to step in and fix it.
The algo needs help here on X, but directionally much better than it was, as a platform

i've answered so many times. if it was "captured" it was by the advertising model and wall st incentives. could not be public like that. pretty basic.

I believe that any of the social media that went from zero to billions of dollars in a very short is probably an intelligence asset. They are a great means to collect data on people and correlate the data, so they can put a trace on everybody.
The kicker is that whatever is on your social media account, you put it there. The agencies didn’t have to spend a dime, outside infrastructure, putting a trace on you because you traced yourself.

Your three options ..as the big cheese...is to put the responsibility on someone else..OR...option 2..claim you’ll look into it...and then totally do nothing.
.OR, option 3..as a last resort..actually do something to address the issue.

I was a very late joiner of Twitter (Musk) BUT I clearly recall something. My work had a training session and it featured Twitter as a way to collaborate with other professionals. they had a live stream of Dorsey and other Twitter CEOs talk about their services. This was way, way back probably when it was just getting big.
Any way he and all his CEOs just oozed what we would call “Woke” today, social Justice and all that rot.
That’s why I never joined Twitter until Musk took it. I feel it went the way exactly as Dorsey planned it.
Dorsey should be tried for treason and hanged. He’s on the list.

I believe that. Even now, when someone here posts a link to YouTube and I go there, I frequently have to sit thru a 2+ minute commercial or two before I can view it. When I view a YouTube video thru the app on my TV, it doesn’t happen. Sure, I still get slammed with a lot of commercials, but not at the very beginning. I know the video posters are doing it, but not at the very beginning. Video roadblocks on YouTube.
