Why Are They Destroying Us?
If someone wished to destroy America, could he do anything more catastrophic than what we currently see and hear each day? What would an existential enemy do that we have not already done to ourselves?
Here are eleven now familiar steps to civilizational destruction:
1) Wipe out a 2,000 mile border. Allow 10-million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let toxic drugs in that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support for those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.
2) Run up $35 trillion in national debt. Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and inhumane.
3). Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China. Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Make amends to leftist governments for supposedly past toxic American international behavior. Follow the lead of international agencies like the UN, ICC, and WHO to atone forpast American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.
4) In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation. Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Redefine all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion, and commendation.

As a Classics scholar, VDH should recognize that every one of his 11 points has an analogue in the behaviour of the Senatorial Oligarchy, as Rome declined.
There is nothing new under the sun. And the behavior of an evil, decadent, failing elite in an attempt to maintain power is always going to take similar forms.
I think much of what is behind the J6 persecutions is their fear we will get involved. And, they are doing everything possible to make us fear being noticed.

There is massive outrage, but it is mostly censored online and totally invisible to the MSM.
A Godless culture who has celebrated the slaughter of innocents in the womb for over 50 years and is now corrupting our young into believing all sex is consequence free and that there is nothing special about our nation or its freedoms.
But I have to add this thought to that paragraph.
The over-the-top prosecution of Jan 6 protesters has scared many on the right. The absurd jailing in terrible conditions has understandably intimidated many conservatives.
Add in the deep state targeting of Catholics and school board protestors—and you can see why so many on the right have been marginalized, and even neutered!
The weaponizing of our leviathan government—the FBI, CIA and other agencies has been incredibly effective, with long term repercussions, none of them good. They have served the democrats very well.
Look what happened to the J6’ers and you will have your answer.
The Conservatives (constitutionals) are not Paid to protest
I personally think our nation is in the “God gave them over...” phase described in Romans Ch. 1 because as a nation we have not just abandoned God - we have rejected Him and given Him the middle finger.
Only divine intervention or deep repentance and revival and return to the Lord will change things. It is established that politics won’t.
And in scripture I seen no indication that either of the above will happen.
And while our nation is dying, the Christian world-system is building itself, its mega-churches and their glorious pastors, and denominational & sectarian pastors are building their little kingdoms so they can be like Diotrophes, “first among the brethren.....” And the lesser leaders only striving to be like them in lesser ways?
Where can you find even small assemblies where the people live humble, godly lives, exemplifying Christ in all they do, laying down their lives for one another, both living the gospel and quietly proclaiming it?
The United States is in decline. The Left has brought this decline as they are trying to get every penny they can get out of it and collapse it.

All of this doesn’t sound like anything Bribey Joe could cook up, but it sounds exactly like what Obama and his ilk would do.

Not sure if VDH believes the Bible, but it’s going to get far worse than anything he just wrote about.
One reason the left is dominating and we are not, is that they have been building their infrastructure for years, while we have not. Remember “Occupy WallStreet?” They used that as a test run, and secured a whole cadre of activists who are still out there, and metastasizing, today. That was in 2011, btw, so they have that much of a head start. These protest movements don’t just get started overnight. Of course having Hussein in the White House helped their project a whole lot.
You can see the same time tested tactic, refined, right now with the “tent cities” occupying campuses. Lots of money. Soros money, Muslim Brotherhood money, made available on short notice to capitalize on any opportunity. Add in media collusion, and government protection, and how do we, as individuals, do anything?
