A UKRAINIAN missile struck Putin's oldest naval vessel in a massive blow to Russia's forces in Crimea.
Footage showed flames and smoke billowing out from the 112-year-old warship in the occupied port of Sevastopol this morning.
Explosions hit the area as Russians were forced to issue a missile warning and close Putin's prized Crimea bridge.
Fire engines reportedly rushed to the port to put out the blaze on the 315-ft long vessel.
A caption under the dramatic video, shared by Astra on Telegram, said: "The rocket hit the ship. See, it's burning."
The vessel hit by Ukraine is Kommuna, the world's oldest navy vessel and a prized member of Putin's Black Sea fleet.
First launched in 1913, it's an impressive target for Ukrainian forces after surviving two world wars.

That was very well-stated. FR’s Moscow stooges belittle Ukrainian valor and intrepidness. But the Ukrainian military has won the respect of all true liberty-loving people around the world. The one-time-zone country has out-fought the eleven-time-zone country. The 40 million have out-fought the 140 million.
Those Ukrainians are certianly marching roughshod over Russi all the way to the sea of Okhotsk if one werew to believe this type of propaganda.

On Feburary 10, 2022 the Moskva's readiness report was leaked before Russia's invasion. Here are summaries of what it means, on Reddit and Twitter/x. Igor Girkin tweeted about it (remember him?).
Forget about seaworthy, the Moskva was barely safe to go to sea at all. Half the engines were past their service life and the steering was worn out. Most of the electrical systems and weapons were so poorly maintained they did not work.
As for the, Kommuna was one of the few Russian ships that worked like she should. Russia has already lost one third the Black Sea Fleet to Ukraine which doesn't have a functional navy. Ukraine's use of sea drones would make any salvage operations extremely dangerous. On top of that, Ukraine has struck Sevastopol repeatedly.
Instead of learning from its mistakes the Russian navy finds more ways to repeat them. Dumb.

Another distraction from what is happening on the front lines. It’s another meaningless PR stunt by Ukraine. Russia has been dismantling Ukraine’s electric grid on a daily basis and hitting ammo dumps they can’t afford to lose. Hitting an antique ship means nothing. When there’s nothing but bad news on the battlefield give people something to distract them. Ukraine excels at that.
And? How does that take back Ukie Territory Ruzzia now occupies?
