The stunning defeat of Iran’s first direct attack on Israel from its own territory must be a major humiliation for the mullahs’ regime, and as well for its proxies like the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezb’allah. These terror entities depend on their ability to instill fear, so the failure of the puppet masters in Tehran to achieve any significant damage to The Little Satan, Israel, damages their principal survival mechanism. As Osama bin Laden put it, people are attracted to the strong horse.
The X account “Open Source Intel” features a translation of the rationalization of the defeat published by what it calls a popular Lebanese Hezb’allah channel. While there is no reason to grant credibility to anything Hezb’allah allies write or say, it is still valuable to see what they tell their own supporters as a way of understanding their vulnerabilities and their plans.

Popular Lebanese Hezbollah channel writes:
“While it's quite evident everyone would have preferred to see more impacts in Israel, we have to know a few things:
- The Iranian attack didn't target civilian centers
- The Iranian attack targeted isolated military bases

Hezb’allah is pointing Israel haters, especially those in the U.S., toward even stronger attempts to undermine political support for Israel.
This helpfully clarifies the nature of these groups as supporters of the mullahs of Iran, the regime that held U.S. embassy personnel hostage, that continues developing atomic bombs and explicitly desires Armageddon as a way of – in their view – summoning the Mahdi and ending humanity. That is welcome clarity on what these “pro-Palestinian” demonstrators are actually trying to accomplish.

It is quite telling that the democRATs won’t criticize the pro-palestine protestors.
It must be frustrating to them that Biden’s ass is owned by the ChiComs and they have to rely on popularity among the DNC base. I mean, who do they kill so they can kill?
Once Iran perfects their nukes financed by the USA,an air burst EMP will do the trick.
Iran did exactly what it told the U.S. and Israel in advance what it was going to do (below is the article from The Financial Times which is behind a paywall). This was calibrated to show only a reaction to the illegal attack by Israel on the consulate in Damascus. Iran specifically targeted nothing but military targets and used easily shot down, at a hugely expensive cost, drones and lesser missiles. That being said, Iran did commit apparently a few of its hypersonic missiles which evaded all Israeli air defense and hit the Nevatim air base. Iran, seeking to avoid, as it has all along, a war that would drag the U.S. in, is giving Israel the opportunity to stand down. Israel and its stooges are allowed to crow all they want about shooting down those throwaway assets Iran committed if it stops the escalation.
Again, if this were a determined Iranian attack, why on earth would they tell everyone involved with what, when and where the “attack” would occur?

Because they were scared shitless Israel would strike back twice as hard.
You live in your own reality. Entertaining though.
1. Slow-moving 44 pound warhead drones are the easiest-hit, least damaging, lowest explosive yield weapon fired yesterday. Missiles, particularly ballistic missiles, are not "lesser missiles" - they are faster, more precise, and have far higher payloads and are far more expensive.
2. So, where and when did the Iranians announce that they would be "only firing on military targets in Israel"? Were they speaking about their Houthis and Hezbollah buddies who were firing up a storm last night too? I saw interceptions taking place over Jerusalem - and are there "military targets" there?
I was kind of hoping they'd hit the Dome of the Rock.
3. Hypersonic missiles? Really? As far as anyone knows the Iranians don't have them. Only the Russians, the Chinese and maybe us.
4."Israel and its stooges?" Not at all biased/antisemitic, are you?
5. If we had an actual president and an actual Nation Security Council and Military leadership, this would have the perfect opening to finally take out their known nuclear and ballistic missile fabrication sites and cut the head off the snake before they a have nuclear weapon employment capability - or are you hoping that they get them?
tru dat, Dam straight !
I have designed the hyperactive missile.
It runs down the school corridors, doesn't pay attention in Social Studies classm, needs to take ritalin, and halfway through its mission it decides to ride its bike instead.
Concur.
It’s you again, hardfxxxed! To provide us not only with you wisdom on all things Ukraine, but on Israel vs Iran, as well. Getting paid twice?
Come to think of it, I have a built a few of those myself...
I don’t believe they weren’t targeting civilians.
That’s islams MO. It’s what they always do.
*Illegal* attack? Is there a law that prohibits attacks on embassies?
And are you going to condemn Iran’s attacks on embassies over the years? Or just show your anti-Semitism and condemn anyone who fights back against islamists.
And don't forget that the Iranians slaughtered people at the Israeli Embassy in Argentina some years back. 29 people were killed in that attack. Has there been any retaliation for that massacre?

Just a reminder: Had it not been for Jimmuh Carter, Iran would be our ally, maybe even in NATO.
I very much disagree this was a failure for the Iranians. They obviously knew it would take hours for the drones to get there so they knew Israel would be waiting. I think Iran got exactly what they thought they would see. Question is why did they do it. I would. It be so quick to dismiss the damage they can cause if the choose.
I don’t believe Israel ever did that.
Hint, hint, Mr. Netanyahu. There will be another chance soon enough...
Cool,can I get one.😜
