The 20-year-old passenger who jumped off a Royal Caribbean cruise last week after an argument with his dad has been identified as a former high school football player and avid hunter living in Florida.
Levion Parker, of North Port, Florida, has been missing since he jumped overboard April 4 in front of his brother and father on the cruise to Cuba and the Bahamas’ Grand Inagua Island, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The release of his identity comes shortly after the Coast Guard called off its search for Parker.
Social media posts show Parker often went on hunting and fishing trips. He also played football for North Port High School before he graduated in 2022, according to the Daily Mail.
Parker jumped off the 18-story Liberty of the Seas after reportedly getting into an argument with his father.

Having a relative who worked security on a cruise ship in the recent past, I can tell you that it’s basically impossible to get away with ‘conventional’ underage drinking on an American-based cruise ship. For starters, your ship pass won’t work at the bars if you’re under 21 and your age is based on your passport, so no hope there. Perhaps someone can slip you drinks, but not as easy as it sounds as there are cameras everywhere (often there are groups with some people 21+ and others under 21).
HOWEVER, smuggling alcohol on board is not difficult (at worst, you lose the booze - very rarely are people prevented from boarding), and even easier is simply getting drunk at a Mexican (or Caribbean) bar.
Smuggling BOOZE onto a ship is almost IMPOSSIBLE these days.....ALL BAGGAGE IS CHECKED and X RAYED!<P.IF you have any alcohol in your bags, the bags go to THE NAUGHTY ROOM where you have to go and CLAIM them AFTER they take your booze away!!

Yeah. I know what it is. If you lost a son I am very sorry. BUT, you made a smart-ass remark about a kid killing himself without revealing that in your remark. However, that does not dismiss the remark. What it should have done is give you rise to feel something for the family that lost a son as you had, not make a crummy remark. My comments to you were in the fact that you made a smart remark in such a horrific situation. Again, I am sorry for your loss. I have not had to experience that and would not even start to tell you about feelings in that event since I have not experienced it. End of subject. I am through banging it back and forth. I lost my 41 yo son last June to a combination of antidepressants, alcohol and Xanax. That could have been my son on that ship, as they both weren’t in their right minds. I think most parents can empathize with this story, especially if they’ve lost a child. That doesn’t make them “mental nut jobs.”
I don’t consider him a loose screw because he emphasized - I consider him that because he went psycho on me for little reason than free speech
