About a month ago we had a full inch of snow that was gone the next day. Supposed to be about 53° today, dry, sunny to partly cloudy, unlimited visibility with a mild 3 mph breeze...Getting up to 61° in a day or two so we’ll tough it out until then.

He packed in one of his companions in the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. Was arrested and convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to death. But on appeal he granted a retrial & was sentenced to 40 years of voluntary manslaughter.
Not a survivor of the Donner Party, but along the same lines. 🙂
