edical professionals were aware of at least one case of cancer thought to be linked to a hormonal medication taken to aid gender transitioning, leaked documents from a worldwide transgender nonprofit organization suggests.
In a report released Monday, the think tank Environmental Progress published hundreds of messages it said were from an internal forum of members of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), in which they discussed gender-affirming treatment and the complications that had arisen from particular cases.
The report comes amid a national debate on gender-affirming health care, as states across the U.S. have introduced legislation to limit treatment for young people who identify as transgender.
Among the messages is one, dated February 24, 2022, in which a person—identified by the report as a doctor—said a colleague developed hepatocarcinomas, or liver tumors, after eight to 10 years of taking testosterone.
"To the best of my knowledge, it was linked to his hormonal treatment," the message said. "Unfortunately I don't have much more details since it was so advanced that he opted for palliative care and died a couple months after."
In the messages, the WPATH members discussed academic papers, asked for advice on issues surrounding gender-affirming care and shared their professional experiences. Environmental Progress said the leaks showed members appeared to be improvising treatments and, in some cases, spoke out against safeguarding requirements.
Michael Shellenberger, the president and founder of Environmental Progress, said in a statement that the leaks show that WPATH members "know that the so-called 'gender-affirming care' they provide can result in life-long complications and sterility and that their patients do not understand the implications."

It is not “gender affirming care” that’s just insane.
Estrogen hormone therapy for women is also linked to cancer. How is it a surprise or unexpected that it would be an even greater cancer risk when the hormones are given to the opposite sex?

Well, then Cancer is not WOKE.
So my take on this is the testosterone given to women that think they’re a man is bad. It also causes what I term “roid rage”, which causes violent behavior including a large swath of shooting incidents.
The guys taking estrogen, well I haven’t heard of any violence from that end of the group. In fact there are many cancer treatments that involve estrogen and simile drugs. So maybe the guys that think their girls have less risk of cancer. Guess we’ll find out over the coming years.
I personally wouldn’t give a hoot what someone does with their bodies. That was until they forced this stuff down our throats.

The idiot parents need to be held accountable as well. If my kid came to me and said they were the opposite gender, the first place I would take them to is a psychiatrist…
Anyone, especially medical, educational, religious, psychiatric and psychological professionals who are involved, in any way, with “affirming” the transsexual delusions should be imprisoned.
Anyone doing it to children should have a millstone tied to their neck and be thrown into the sea.
Forcing someone to affirmatively participate in another’s delusion will not cure their mental illness.
There’s more than “the Left” to this.
All this stuff benefits Big Pharma and the Medical Industrial Complex in this country business interests some might call “the Right”.
But All Out No Holds Barred Capitalism is “Liberal Capitalism”.
All the “Liberal” parties in the world are rooted in free markets and capitalism although some swerve off into social liberalism like Justin Trudeau in Canada.
It certainly “worked” for my fully vaccinated father.
