January Was World's Warmest on Record, EU Scientists Say
AsiaOne ^ | FEBRUARY 07, 2024

Posted on 02/20/2024 4:06:09 PM PST by nickcarraway

The world just experienced its hottest January on record, continuing a run of exceptional heat fuelled by climate change, the European Union's Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) said on Thursday (Feb 8).

Last month surpassed the previous warmest January, which occurred in 2020, in C3S's records going back to 1950.

The exceptional month came after 2023 ranked as the planet's hottest year in global records going back to 1850, as human-caused climate change and the El Nino weather phenomenon, which warms the surface waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean, pushed temperatures higher.

Really? We had a week of temps -5 to -12 below at night and single digits during the day.

Well, okay. But when was the hottest second in that month? The article doesn’t say. I demand that such information be included in future reports!

After all, if they’re going to make up data might as well go completely nuts.

I used 32% more gas for heating in January 2024 than January 2023. I used 32% less electricity for cooling in August 2023 than August 2022. So-called climatologists lie, but my utility bills do not.

Had nothing to do with the largest known underwater volcanic eruption putting billions of gallons of water vapor in the atmosphere? What 18 months ago?

“The exceptional month came after 2023 ranked as the planet’s hottest year in global records going back to 1850.”

As opposed to 4 billion years.

I’ll say it — these so-called scientists are assholes. Yes, I used the word “assholes” and I will say it again — they are assholes.

Bull Schiff. Texas had some record-breaking cold temps in January, just as an example.

These days, “scientists” have about as much credibility as “experts”, and used car salesmen, and politicians, and “journalists”, and career fraudsters, and the Sham-Wow guy, and pathological liars.

So.

173 years of data.

Let’s presume that the 1850, 1875, 1900, 1925, 1950, 1975, 2000, and 2023 data were ALL collected the same way, in the same places, and the “Earth’s temperature” was calculated the same way. That’s false, of course, but just follow along.

Now compare the 173 years that data exists with the 173 years before 1850. What was 1677 like? 1477? 1066?

What was 5000 BC like? 15000 BC? Ten million years ago?

What a load of nonsense.

I wonder if those thermometers were all regularly calibrated for accuracy, too. LOL.

BULL$HIT!... I reside in the mid-south and my heating bill increased by 42% because we had 12 to 15 days of unusually LOW temps of 5 to 15 degrees in January.

Then you get into the whole ocean temps issue. Like that isn’t a serious heat sink/source.

We are simply being lied to. The global warming agenda is and has always been a fraud. A useful and quite profitable fraud, but a fraud nevertheless.
