Preventive Vitamin D Supplementation and Risk for COVID-19 Infection: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
The results of our meta-analysis seem to support the use of vitamin D, especially in populations with vitamin D deficiencies, in the prevention of COVID-19 infection and in the prevention of related complications.Research shows that vitamin D is more effective for people in preventing and recovering from Covid. The large sample group showed: - - 84% fewer deaths - 68% fewer ICU admissions - 60% fewer Covid cases.
