Provocative US right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson criticized the US government for its failure to advocate for a ceasefire in both Gaza and Ukraine, stating that the nation is “losing moral authority.”
Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Monday, the former Fox News political commentator emphasized the need for the US to refrain from supporting wars solely for its own interests, a strategy commonly referred to as proxy warfare.
“If you see a nation with awesome power, abetting war for its own sake, you have a leadership that has no moral authority, that is illegitimate,” Carlson said.
“(The US) has been a morally superior country. (But) if we allow our leaders to use our power to spread destruction for its own sake, that is shameful.”

I was a huge fan of Tucker Carlson but his positions on foreign policy have always been in argued in a very dishonest way.
We can put the issue of Ukraine aside because that’s very device of here.
Tucker makes arguments about Iran and communist China which are frankly crazy.
For example he approvingly put on guests who said that Iran would defeat the United States in a war.
He also went along with a guest who said that we should not oppose communist China anywhere because communist China isn’t going to invade California.
The worst I ever saw was when he sat there approvingly as one of his hand picked guests said that anywhere an American marine is stationed in the world, they are there to steal the resources of that country.
End goal should be the elimination of Hamas.
Can we not do that faster and cheaper? Does it always need to take years? Does it not matter we are 33 T in debt?

All things considered... I posit that anyone that trusts Tucker Carlson is, at best, delusional, and at worst, a complete and total moron. I would, however, consider that for political purposes... ‘pretending’ to trust Tucker might be advantageous.

The United States really does not need to support the Israelis kicking the crap out of Hamas. You don’t think Muslims are crossing our southern border? Fight them over there, ignore the ones here. We don’t even have enough weapons to defend ourselves because we gave everything away.
If we had a 33T surplus, sure give our allies the weapons, we don’t have the money or the hardware. If our borders were closed and we knew who was here, we wouldn’t have to fight them over there. They wouldn’t get in.
Do you realize that killing everyone in Gaza would kill tens of thousands of innocent people? 27,000 women and children have already been killed. I am all for getting rid of Hamas but you are wrong if you assume all citizens are terrorists.
