“Was it a horror movie?...................”

About 40 years ago James Garner was asked by Barbara Walters (IIRC) if he would appear nude in a film.

“I don’t do horror films” was his response. Priceless, perfectly delivered, deadpan quip. Never forgot it.

Cheech: Hey, Man, what you watchin’?

Chong: A movie about Indians, man, but it’s really boring, man!

Cheech: That’s not a movie, man, that’s a test pattern, man!

Chong: Oh, wow, man!

Cheech: Let’s change the channel, man!

TV: Sounds of woman screaming, things being broken, more screaming.....

Cheech: Oh wow, it’s a horror movie!

Chong: Wow, is that Jane Fonda?

Cheech: No, man, the scary kind!..................

Chong mis-hears the word ‘horror’ as ‘whore’. Jane Fonda had, at that time, a reputation for playing a prostitute in movies............
