It’s almost as bad as Paramount+ that was commercial free in the beginning now It’s full of commercials. Also they say they are streaming all of the cbs games on Sunday but we got only one that was on regular tv.
Streaming is not worth the money any more.
I honestly kept cable because I knew the free ride was only temporary. They were not going to put up with just internet fees. Soon internet will cost as much as having cable and internet. Nothing is free. All those pulling the cord I knew would bite them eventually.
It only exists because consumers consented to this. If they refused to go along with this, it would all still be on free over the air channels. Many local sports games were not that long ago carried on local TV station affiliates almost entirely. Then they put them on cable stations. The SEC Network is one such example. It was a network that used to have local affiliates carrying the games. Now you can’t get it without a cable subscription. Consumers decided to pay up...if they had refused, that would have flopped and they would have had no choice but to revert back to their broadcast affiliates.
