Maybe they attempt this, but with present NY City ‘safety’ collapsing....week by week, and virtually no interest with the remaining police to enforce anything, this simply won’t go too far. Same story in SF, LA, Portland, Philly and Seattle. You’d probably tempt another million odd urban residents to just look for a move to some rural location.
