I watched the original moon shot, and while I believe we could have landed something on the moon, I doubt anything came back.
For realism Stanley Kubrick insisted that they film it on the moon.

Please. The special effects in 2001 were not very good. People walked around on the moon just like they did on earth. In reality, astronauts chose to hop instead of walk on the moon, and they did it in 150 pound space suits. They moved slow because the pull of gravity is only one sixth what it is on earth. In the movie they moved exactly as if they were on earth, so NO, KUBRIC DID NOT FILM THE MOON LANDINGS.
If you watch that episode to the END the host makes it clear that there’s nothign to the moon landing hoax. He debunks all the kooky “we didn’t land on the moon” stuff.
The point is the video you posted DEBUNKS the idea that the moon landing was a hoax. It was real.
Along these lines are a couple of good movies. Capricorn one, a little dated from the 70s, And Moonwalkers. 2015 a good comedy about this very subject. I thought the thread was about it at first.
Great episode of the Why Files, which my wife and I are awfully fond of. AJ is a great researcher and writer and Hecklefish is hysterical. You really need to watch this episode (one of the better ones, I think) to the end, because one of the hallmarks of the program is that AJ will set up a premise and then (if possible) debunk it. Nihil assumpseris.

In 1969 the technical difficulties of a moon landing were less than the technical difficulties of a video production such as we saw given the video technology of that time. If the landing were faked, the Russians would have faked one too.
