I know we're all excited to go see "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," the fifth installment in the 40-year-old franchise and yet another beloved series that Disney is using to push a woke girlboss agenda while trashing and debasing the legacy characters that we all know and love.
Oh wait, we're not interested in seeing that?
That's right: Throw in those marketing costs and other odds and ends and you're looking at what could be close to a $500 million price tag for this thing. Half a billion dollars. That's a lot of money.
For a studio to recoup that kind of monstrous budget, the dang movie needs to hit the ground running. It needs to start sweeping the box offices on opening night. Heck, even 2008's boring, useless Indy installment "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" netted $100 million in its first three days.
"Dial of Destiny" looks set to capture barely two-thirds of that.

I love his Youtube channel. Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker are my favorites to watch for movie reviews. I also heard that Kathleen Kennedy might finally get the boot if Indiana Jones and the Dial of Discentary does poorly. Let’s hope that happens. Anyone else hear of that happening?
She humiliated his Star Wars character before killing him off. She wrote him as a broken man, a guy who ran away, a guy who has a mary sue girl fix and fly the Falcon better than he does.
She humiliated his character in Indy, the franchise character, with multiple endings of this movie killing off his character, and one making it so thathe never even existed at all. She wrote him as a broken man, a guy who gets schooled by a woke mary sue b1tch character who snarks at him the entire movie, and punches him in the face at the end.
Nerdrotic is excellent as well. But yah, Critical Drinker knocks it out of the park,

Overlord DVD, #Doomcock, is THE reason this movie didn’t turn out infinitely worse. He reported through leaks from Lucasfilm/Disney what they originally planned to do, and there was such an uproar they had to do much rework to change the ending to be more palatable to audiences.
No, they could have salvaged it if Kathleen wasn’t in charge. It wouldn’t have been Raiders but it could have given him a good sendoff.
Kathleen humiliates and tears down existing characters in order to try to get her own characters to replace them. So far its failed horribly. They are unlikeable characters, and no one connects to them like the originals, because they spend so much time ripping the original characters up and down. Particularly the male characters. Luke. Han. Indy.

You might be on to something. A guy I know is a wetlands credits broker (not kidding). Say you want to build on a wetland. You’ve got to buy wetlands credits first. These credits are sold by someone who owns a wetland somewhere. When selling credits to you, the seller promises to leave his wetlands alone forever.
So why not broker ESG credits? You want to make a movie praising Trump? Well, okay. But first you have to buy ESG credits from someone, maybe someone who just made a film praising Michelle Obama.
Yes, I think I’m going to start a business brokering ESG credits. It would be a sure thing.

My wife and I enjoyed it,,I saw nothing “woke” in the entire movie.We might even see it again.It had characters from the earlier movies and the action/chase scenes reminded us of the early movies.
