Governor DeSantis is joining Nevada Governor Lombardo, Lt. Governor Stavros Anthony, and Adam Laxalt will be at the 8th Annual Basque Fry in Gardnerville today, Saturday, June 17, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pacific.
Not sure if this will be carried by the news channels, but I'll offer some commentary.
Anyone else going to be attending?

Gardnerville is a nice town. When we last stopped there the burger joint was staffed with high school kids.

I used to live there. There are 3 Basque restaurants. Sometimes called Family Style dining. Great food always!
Absolutely beatutiful day. Mostly clear, 70s, slight breeze, snow still on the mountains behind the stage. Great warm-up band, media set, figure DeSantis will be introduced shortly. Nice crowd, packed for size of venue. Mix of DeSantis and Trump attire. Relaxed, everyone in good spirits.
Laxalts are Basque.
The debates between DeSantis and Trump should be epic.
…and no smoking, vaping, or pot.
Are they’re discussing the Harvest Festival cover-up and both their puppeteers? That would be worth attending.

Yes, if Trump decides to debate, they will be epic. Two very different types of people, both energetic.

DeSantis is going to get squashed to the point the establishment vote will rally around Chris Christie.
Christie will carve up DeSantis and take the establishment vote for himself. He's an a-hole but a vastly superior debater than DeSantis. Of course, all that will get him will be 20% of the vote.
Tim Scott or Pence will scoop up that small evangelical vote that doesn't care for Trump. Both are much more authentically Christian than DeSantis.
DeSantis will be out of the race by the end of the South Carolina primary.
