FR is the closest I come to social media. Twitter, Farcebook and whatever else there is, is just not for me.
I must agree though, personal data mining is made real easy with social media. Lately Google has been advertising their system for keeping track of passwords and credit card information to make the internet and purchasing easier. For crying out loud, who in the hubs of holy hell would want to give Google their passwords and credit card information? Those that do must have rocks for brains.

I'll be damned if I submit to whats called the norm these days and stifle my own opinions for the greater good. I'm so calloused by it I even came to terms with walking away from my own 3 kids, now adults, because they stopped talking to me because I hurt their feelings... 2 I scolded in a simple text message, 1, for not showing up for work after he said he'll be there, the other, routinely blowing off the most cordial conversation attempts. and the third!?? now 26 years old and 2 years ago made a Pro Ultimate Frisbee Team. ...and as a proud dad I simply joked about “Are you actually playing or are you the water girl?”. and just recently I joked about an all male team wanting her to coach them a weekend coming up. I said, Are you actually being recruited to coach or do you got the hots for a certain player on that team? Again, feeling proud, and simply adding humor was met with total resentment for making that comment, and she brought up the water girl comment from 2 years ago!! I could not fkng believe it!!
She did 4 years in the military, an AE on the Ronald Reagan Aircft Carrier, and in her third year of College and is still that fkng sensitive, there is just no words to describe my pain in it all.
That is immediate family, and ill be damned if I put up with it from anyone else. I dont care if there is anyone besides a few squawking Crows above my casket!!

My 19 year old son was milking the system’s covid payouts for a year and a half in the ex’s boyfriends basement smikng weed and playing video games and I insisted he comes to work with me just to keep hi mind up and blood circulating. what was I supposed to do?? NOTHING!?? kiss his ass? say I’m sorry after 2 years of absolutley no response from him?? me and that kid mever had a problem prior to that... thats whats fkng sad...
I assume that the Feds have already used a much more sophisticated AI that we have access to, and have already mined the entire internet creating a file on each person. Then, they use it to regularly make updates for recent activity.

Was your initial employment based on the condition that you provide the social media? If not, then they are invading your privacy by requiring it now. If you know any lawyers, ask them. See if you can get one on contingency to sue them.
