Um. Trump just called Stormy Daniels a “horse face” yesterday. I was willing to overlook the fact that he called Carly Fiorina a horse face back in 2016, although it made me very uncomfortable as a woman.
I voted for Trump twice but decided months ago I will be voting for DeSantis
Trump’s horse face comment was incredibly misogynistic. I am so done
And DeSantis’s response was disciplined, measured , funny - and yes, had grace. Better start taking a look at Trump’s ugly comments about women. You’ve got your head in the sand
He called her “horse-face?”
I’ve always called her an over-medicated cow.
How will I ever be able to vote for Trump again, after such a fundamental difference?
It’s not just about “women” or any aggrieved group.
Trump is just a loose-cannon childish big-mouth insult machine.
His fans act like he’s such an innocent put-upon child or pure gentleman who has been so unfairly attacked, but truth is he almost always dishes out first, guns ablazing.
They also think this “direct” talk (insults) indicates being “tough”.
Trump is an ass; a privileged, entitled ass, and we’re supposed to ignore what he does and what his background is (hypocrisy compared to times past). I can do that as far as what choice am I given, but he’s not my favorite “conservative”.
I wanted to vomit when Trump made those grotesque comments to Carly Fiorina during the debate both for the invective and the then immediate realization that it would forever be a stain from which a large percentage of women would recoil in horror and forever hold Trump in contempt.
Let me guess, you started 2016 pulling for Jeb?
