(CNN) — News that the Pentagon is monitoring a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon in the skies over the continental United States raises a series of questions — not least among them, what exactly it might be doing.
US officials have said the flight path of the balloon, first spotted over Montana on Thursday, could potentially take it over a “number of sensitive sites” and say they are taking steps to “protect against foreign intelligence collection.”

Another report I read said that it was detected Wed. over the Aleutians, so they’ve been watching it for a while. It sounds like they were trying to somehow capture it to see what’s aboard.
In fact, if we just started the rumor that it is emitting a MAGA signal, it will probably get blown out of the sky.
As an aside, does anyone doubt that somehow Joe and Hunter are getting a royalty by permitting this balloon to fly over our country?

They are snooping our LCCs, WSAs and ICBM sites. Maybe counting bombers on the ground. I say scramble them.
What is more news worthy is the little snippet of news included in Story is the USA might be in war with the Chinese in the near future, basically our government, or the swamp dwellers want us to believe the Chinese are a big threat to America (whether they are or not) so Americans will become MORE dependent on our government to protect them from the real evil country for good or bad.
Since this has happened before, the interesting question is why this is being publicized in the mainstream media now—
Did the National Security Council decide to publicize it for some reason?
Did some hawkish Air Force General send up some fighters and close Billings air space knowing that it would become a media story?

Remember when China sent all those free seeds to us 4 or 5 years ago? Were we ever told what that was all about? No telling what the balloon is filled with, and Xi is counting on us to bring it down and releasing the stuff.
