As midterms approach, some voters say climate change is more important than inflation in the long term (only 8.29 years left)

MILWAUKEE - Most voters in Wisconsin who spoke with Fox News said addressing climate change is more important than curbing inflation ahead of the November midterm elections.

"Climate change is going to affect our children, our children's children," Heather, from Green Bay, said.

But Matt, from Milwaukee, said he cares more about lowering inflation as he feels the impact of price hikes every day.

"It comes out of my pocket," Matt said. "I pay for that, and it's easy for me to pick out."

Nearly 80% of Democratic Wisconsin voters said climate change was the most concerning issue, an August Marquette University poll found. Inflation, which nationally hit a 40-year record-high of 9.1% in June, ranked sixth.

Climate change is "only going to get worse if we don't act on it now," London, from Milwaukee, said.

But 91% of Republican voters polled in the Marquette survey said inflation was their top issue. They rated climate change last.

"I really don't care about climate change," Matt said. "It's normal for temperature to change."

But Christian, from Milwaukee, said Americans need to think about potentially drastic climate changes ahead in the next few decades.

"If it's already at 100 degrees it's just going to go up from that," Christian said.

U.S. cities reached record-high temperatures over the summer, ranking as the third-hottest season in history. The extreme heat the Pacific Northwest experienced was a once-in-10,000 years event and was driven by climate change, a UCLA researcher found.

That's because they know the comrades are in deep kimchi when it comes to the economy and inflation. The drug factor also plays a big part in this 80% of Democrats.

I SERIOUSLY doubt anybody outside of Madison even gives a rip about “climate change”.

I looked for the poll on the Fox article. Nothing.

I looked for the poll on the Marquette site. Nothing.

They are clearly hiding the internals.

What, maybe a 20% Democrat tilt? 30%?

“Most voters in Wisconsin who spoke with Fox News said addressing climate change is more important than curbing inflation ahead of the November midterm elections.”

Total BS. How many voters did Fox talk to and how did they select them? Virtually every poll shows climate change well down the list of concerns. This article is pure garbage.

The climate change extremists should be forced to spend a North Dakota Winter living in a yurt with dung fires for heat and cooking.

“Heather and London. Nuff said.”

I was thinking the same thing. I guess the author couldn’t find any Karens that day.

Some voters believe in grays, reptilians, insectoids, and flying saucers.

Most voters in Wisconsin who spoke with Fox News said addressing climate change is more important than curbing inflation ahead of the November midterm elections.

I wonder if those Wisconsin voters are aware that carbon dioxide has nothing to do with climate change? CO2 is dwarfed by another greenhouse gas that is twice as powerful and 100x more effective.

There is nothing mankind can do about climate change. it is caused by the interaction of the Sun, water vapor, aerosols. Our oceans are a great heat sink that modulates short term variations. Over time, like 100 to 1,000 years, the climate can change.

Normal variations in weather conditions explain the variances we experience from year to year, don't you think?

This shows how horse shit Fox News polls are. This is simply not true. Inflation and the cost of daily goods is at the top of virtually every person’s talk in the past few months.

Who believes this climate change crap? Mostly Democrats. And who says they’re normal? Way too much evidence to the contrary to make me believe they are. Sure the climate does change from time to time & the fact that we have seasons is proof, but how can anyone expect that throwing money at it will change this? How much would it take & what could be expected from it?

Yep. Lots of people believing the horse dookey that the little bit of warming we’re causing is going to be the end of the world. Well, it’s not. Concentrate on reducing inflation.
