The reason she is threatened for 10 years in prison for some little personal use of weed is because she is an American.
Russia is not one of these weed tyranny countries doing it to everyone. They usually don’t care at all.
It was supposedly not weed, it was hash oil, if that is true then she’s probably toast, it could be CBD oil then she might skate.

I watched some.news they implied these were trumped up charges, and that she is being used as a pawn in International tensions over Ukraine.
Then again, maybe she’s just a fool who broke laws in another country. Time will tell.
The story I read said it was Hash Oil, which is not recreational weed, it could be CBD oil which might be a different story.
Regardless, if it’s weed and the laws are strict in Russia, don’t take weed into or out of the country. In this case it’s their country, learn to live within their laws.
