I agree. Glenn Youngkin actually showed Republicans how to flip a blue state. Run on MAGA populism to retain Trump's base but repackaged without the reality show theatrics to win back the squishy suburban middle that Trump lost.
Trump needs more than just his base to win. He needs the people that couldn't stand him but loathed Hillary Clinton even more. Absent such a divisive opponent, Trump will lose.
Plus, he's just too damn old.
The Ministry of Propaganda would demonize DeSantis the same way they demonized Trump.
