Merck’s COVID-19 pill could carry serious safety concerns, scientists warn

Merck’s new COVID-19 pill, known as molnupiravir, headed for FDA review for emergency authorization, could potentially carry serious safety issues stemming from the method used to kill the virus, scientists warned, according to a report.

The oral antiviral medication integrates into the genetic makeup of the virus, causing a large number of mutations to destroy the virus. However, some laboratory tests indicated the drug’s ability to cause mutations in genetic material of mammalian cells, theoretically causing cancer or birth defects, Barron’s reported.

Oh, sure... NOW they start warning us about stuff!

Can't say I'm crazy about this pill. "Mutation" just doesn't sound all that safe to me.

I heard a discussion by a biologist on the new pill ... it breaks RNA which keeps the virus from replicating (a good thing), BUT does it discriminate between virus RNA & your regular cell RNA? Doesn’t appear so initially - he said serious, multiple safety studies need to be done ..... however, Merck will push for an EUA prior to adequate studies because ... you know .... COVID.

Vladimir Zelenko MD new Z pac

Compare it with what I have been suggesting and been posting off and on for many months. I don’t blame Dr. Zelenko if he is trying to make some extra money, or most likely the ones using his name. Some of the additional components in my suggested mix are for insurance. In other words and plain English I believe in throwing the proverbial “Kitchen sink” at this “Bug” at the first moment it makes itself known.

I don’t quite agree that his combination “IS ALL YOU NEED” to protect yourself as it leaves out an important component such as NAC which is converted by your body to GLUTATHIONE a powerful booster of your immune system. (MD recommended) And more recently I have added LYSINE (MD recommended) which has the ability TO STOP THE REPLICATION OF VIRUSES as I believe this to be a very desirable and worth while feature as you don’t want the virus to spread. The nice part of all this is that all components are readily available without any prescription. It may be a little more difficult to find NAC, even so Amazon dropped it because the FDA got on their case it still is available from other sources.

My suggestion was and still is the following as suggested and recommended by various physicians. I collected and compiled the information and passing it along to give people a choice and derive the benefits from it.

QUERCETIN 500 mg, ZINC 50 mg, NAC 500 mg, D 1500 IU, C- 1500 mg, LYSINE 500 mg. B-Complex as suggested, MELATONIN 3 mg to 5 mg

All this may not prevent you from catching the bug and should it hit, DOUBLE or TRIPLE these amounts for several days. This vitamin regime will not only help to throw off this bug, but are also beneficial to your health if you get this bug or not and most people are deficient in these nutrients to begin with. Aside from that any harmful side effects from any of these suggested vitamins is almost unknown as opposed to what has become known about the current vaccines in use, unless someone goes stupid and hog wild thinking more is always better.

Another word of advice is to have these nutrients in your system BEFORE you think you have caught this bug, as getting a jump on things always wins out over running after the train once it has left the station.

Aw, none of these mutagenic drugs cause the cool mutations like telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, atmokinesis/meteorokinesis, and suchlike . . .

As usual the headline does not match the story. Odd how this same level of caution is never urged by the Lying Media when it comes to the "vaccines".

Dr. Raymond Schinazi, professor of pediatrics and the director of the division of biochemical pharmacology at the Emory University School of Medicine, warned over NHC, the compound that molnupiravir turns into after it is ingested. He advised caution with widespread use until more data is available, due to its potential harm to young people of reproductive age or those who are pregnant. The Merck trial currently excluded pregnant women.

This was a massive big-science multi-center study, and recruited high-risk patients early in the course of disease.

“Each patient had at least one risk factor of poor outcome and symptoms within five days of starting the study. The goal of the study was to examine if the oral medication could reduce hospitalization or death.”

Which is exactly what the Brits did NOT do with their failed ivermectin study (low dose, no risk screening, late administration.)

Here’s a pretty balanced paper (despite a rather hyperbolic title) at a legit source:

Molnupiravir: coding for catastrophe

TLDR: It’s probably safe, but possibly not and needs more study.

Odd how there is never any such concern expressed about the vaccines which have the exact same problems

In the early stages of the plandemic there was Hydroxychloroquine which in 2005 Dr Fraudci stated it was effective against coronaviruses. These filthy, greedy Rat$ lambasted President Trump for mentioning it like he was spouting it off the top of his head. HCQ FDA approved, low cost and available. It’s was like refusing to use a fire extinguisher when the flames broke out. People died needlessly for their greedy gains. May karma do it’s good work upon them.
