Hydroxychloroquine vs Ivermectin vs Quercetin

All three are zinc ionophores. All three on the recommended list by Dr Zalenko and others for COVID prophylaxis or early COVID treatment.

First two require prescription, quercetin does not.

All three are safe for the vast majority of individuals.

No comparative studies for efficacy.

Thoughts on which is better or best?

I’m grateful for this post. It came at a perfect time for me.

Went for my diabetes (borderline) appt on Tuesday. Doc flat out refused my request for a prescription to have on hand for Ivermectin. Turns out he’s part of Intermountain Health Care and that is a no-go for them. I am not a candidate for the vax since I’ve already had Guillain Barre syndrome & it was awful. I’m also at pre-hypertension BP 138/88 that I intend to deal with via exercise. I have bought some Quercetin. Been taking Vit D, C, zinc orotate, selenium, CoQ10. Covid is rampant in my office at the moment.

There appear to me overseas sources for Ivermectin w/o a prescription. Maybe that’s what I should do as a preventative? Trying to figure out the proper dose to order. meh

I’m annoyed that I’m paying for a doctor who isn’t allowed to treat me.

Unfortunately, pharmacies are practicing medicine without a license & asking for the “diagnosis” when they get a hydroxy/ivermectin prescriptions.

No, they're licensed and doing their job in double checking what doctors recommend. It's a second line of defense to prevent a wrongly prescribed drug. Every State sent out info on how to deal with HCQ last Spring. The one for Missouri said they were allowed to fill scripts for HCQ but were also allowed to not fill them and were gently warned that it might be dangerous, which it isn't of course. They hold the pharmacist license and have the final say in what they dispense.

The docs interviewed Saturday disagree. Lawsuits are in the process.

I take Quercetin daily, along with my other supplements...zinc, D3, C..etc

I have plenty of Ivermectin 1% injectable solution (10mg/cc) close at hand...just in case.

I placed an order for a bunch of 12mg tabs of Hydroxychloroquine but it has not yet arrived.

I have seen
images of what is purported to be blood smears from vaxxed people
that look awful...clumping and unusual materials..but idiots
post all sorts of fake images on the web so I’d like to see
for myself.

Ask your physician for advice on what supplements/pharmecueticals to take, I just mention what I take.

I take supplements in an attempt to keep covid at bay.

I think it is unwise to have supplements/HCQ/Ivermectin and then wait until you get sick and only then start taking it.

Taking them as a prophylactic is one thing, waiting until you are ill and then taking them and sitting home hoping
to feel better is unwise... if you suspect you have contracted covid seek medical attention immediately and if
you are covid positive insist on monoclonal antibody infusion.

Quick medical help is essential with any serious flu..and especially so if you are getting on in years or are in poor health.

Monoclonal antibody infusion early on is a million times better than risking a stay in an ICU.

Here you go! I have excerpted a good article. The rest is worth reading. There is also a chart below that lists foods that have quercetin. (Somewhere there may be a list of zinc containing foods! Pumpkin seed and oysters come to mind!) Hope this helps!

Snip...

"Quercetin; A safe and natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, quercetin is the most frequently studied flavonoid. For dietary sources, it’s found in many plant foods including brassica vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts), capers, grapes, asparagus, green pepper, onions (red onions have the highest levels), shallots, wine, tomatoes, and tea. Quercetin is also present in a wide variety of berries including strawberries, red raspberries, blueberries, black currants, cranberries, chokeberries, and Saskatoon berries. Black chokeberries (Aronia) have the fourth highest level of quercetin of 18 berries studied, at 348 mg/kg. Onions have the highest quercetin content among vegetables and fruits. Frying onions doesn't affect quercetin, but boiling lowers levels by about 30%, transferring the quercetin to the water.A safe and natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, quercetin is the most frequently studied flavonoid. I signed up for a consultation/scripts with America's Frontline Doctors twice. Both times I received this message about 4-5 days later:

During this time, we are experiencing a high amount of consultation requests. Because of this, wait times to speak with a physician are longer than usual.
We are writing to inform you that due to your extended wait time, we have canceled your consultation request. Your payment method was never charged; however, the pre-authorization will be automatically voided and should be removed within 7-10 days.
If you would like to rebook your consultation, please log back into your account and create a new consultation.
Again, we apologize for the long wait time and we look forward to having the opportunity to take care of your health needs in the future.
Thank you for choosing America's Frontline Doctors.

I'm just posting this as an FYI. In fairness, I checked the boxes as not currently having symptoms so that may have contributed to being bumped off but I didn't want to lie either.

My understanding is the Frontline Doctors’ website is giving priority to those with symptoms - quite understandable.

That said, it’s an option for those seeking Ivermectin from a reputable source who is FAR more trustworthy than Fauci, CDC, govt, etc...

What about using Zicam swabs in the nose? They are used to stop a cold or reduce the severity of a cold.

Another lesson…

Get ivermectin now - before needed.

It’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

I looked into food sources and even bought a jar of capers which have the highest level of quercetin of any food. Come to find out, I would need to down a few jars a day to get to the levels in supplements, 500mg. That would be like 200% RDV for sodium though.

Wikipedia says 234mg/100g. A serving is 2 Tbsp which is 5g according to the label on the jar. It would take 40 Tbsp to get to 100g of caper to give you 200ish mg of quercetin. I prefer natural sources for vitamins but in this case, a 500mg capsule looks pretty good.

I suppose you could make a super salad, w/capers/kale etc and drink some red wine with it and get fairly close. Might have to be two of your meals every day.

Haven’t heard anything about the effectiveness of Zicam, so I can’t honestly answer your question. I can only offer up what doctor Zelenko recommends, and had used with significant success. 🙂
