Hydroxychloroquine vs Ivermectin vs Quercetin
All three are zinc ionophores. All three on the recommended list by Dr Zalenko and others for COVID prophylaxis or early COVID treatment.
First two require prescription, quercetin does not.
All three are safe for the vast majority of individuals.
No comparative studies for efficacy.
Thoughts on which is better or best?

Please check Peter McCullough’s protocol carefully, but I believe it says all can be taken together. I do not believe Ivermectin benefits are as an ionophore but it is extremely effective in its own method of operation, which is very complicated.

Sorry in advance for the long post. I will detail personal experience I want to share. I was not educated on Covid as much as I thought until this. Hope this is helpful. My mother got Covid symptoms last Wednesday. She was fully vaccinated. Her regular Dr. gave her standard 6mg Dexymehesone protocol. Thursday, Friday bad wheezing. Saturday received Regeneron. At this time we were very hopeful. We figured since she’s getting a Regeneron the worst of it would be behind her. Sunday, Monday however she got much worse very bad coughing low Oxygen 90-93 range. So bad she went to hospital. They said she had partial “Covid Pneumonia”. They urged her to be admitted. Her regular Dr. wanted her to be ommitted. They inisted she needed O2. She did not want to. She called me. I live out of town. I suggested we find another Dr. and go back home see how it goes. I found a website covid19criticalcare.com. I had her follow their protocol. We urgently tried to get Ivermectin. Tuesday O2 still low 89-91. We were able to get Ivermectin late morning on Tuesday. Note It is tough to do in a time crunch under time pressure when you don’t know where to go, appointments take time, and many doctors won’t prescribe it. Again, my mother took her first dose Tuesday about noon. Crossed fingers. To great dissapointment Wednesday morning she was very bad O2 at 87-89 and she felt terrible. We had come to prepare arrangements to go her to the hospital. Started second guessing our decisions and instincts. We were Very despondent and was concerned maybe we made a mistake admittkng her in the hospital. Second guessing. Then a little after noon almost 24 hours to the minute from taking her first dose of Ivermectin her O2 shot back up to 93 and was she feeling better. Then next day Thursday O2 94-95, Friday O2 98. Saturday (yesterday) O2 98. Taste coming back feeling almost 100% minus little cough.
That is the exact timeline of her case. I really feel and believe 100% the Ivermectin is was what changed the course for her. However, note she had Regeneron, Doxycycline, Ivermectin, and Vitamin C, D, Zinc. Thus, I would recommend all three because technically it could’ve been anyone of those or all of them together. But again, I really feel it was the Ivermectin.
Lesson to me. This is only my opinion from my experience. Her regular doctor respectfully sucked for Covid. You need a doctor that is willing to prescribe Ivermectin and all the latest tools aggressively. Avoid hospitals as best you can even when they’re suggested to you. Very last resort. If you do need hospital find one that has a more flexible treatment protocols, if available. Go to covid19criticalcare great website. Found a Dr. for the Ivermectin there. Stock up on any of their protocol items abead of time and follow their protocols such as vitamins etc…
Hope Sharing my experience can be helpful. There’s a lot of stuff that happened during this process. It would make a very wordy post even wordier. Crazy stuff. I have much less respect what is going on in this Hospital Systems and some of the Dr.’s who work in them.
Perfect topic to keep...

You mean it is good for carotid arteries? My husband had a stroke a year ago and he is on baby aspirin & statins. He had a clogged carotid artery.
Would love to enhance his carotid health with Quercetin but had no idea. I am taking it daily with zinc during this Delta rise and I also got diagnosed with high BP.
Would love to learn more about its benefits.
PS I did voice text so please forgive my grammatical or spelling errors. I did not proof read.
Thank you for that.
Wife has an HCQ prescription for something else, got the Wuhan flu last year and barely noticed it. Donates blood with antibodies now.
What brand do you buy? When looking it up I noticed one site recommends chelated (or protein-bound) quercitin for better uptake.
I found out in Jan of 2021 that I had COVID in February of 2020 (From blood donation testing for antibodies).
In the spring of 2020
I put both my 88 yr old Mom and myself on this regiment.
Since then, Mom has been exposed at least 6 times. I brought home the virus at least 3 times, as I was in Hots Spots where all my COVID Virgin friends caught it, but I didn't, 2 times in rehab from a hip replacement(from the Physical Therapist.. everyone else got it), and a month ago when she was out with family friends & they kissed goodbye then 2 days later they tested positive.
I donate my antibodies monthly & the Blood people told me if I get the Jab, I would most likely get very sick from it and it would destroy my natural immunity.
Neither of us have been Jabbed and we have no plans to. Oh I am 64.
Ivermectin is available from Amazon and Tractor Supply as a horse paste. Contains the same ingredients as the pill form and doesn’t taste very good. Been taking it once a week for several weeks. No problems.
A good article with general info if you haven’t seen it already:
How to Improve Zinc Uptake to Boost Immune Health

I heard one of the docs treating early outpatient home-based say that Quercetin is definitely ok for prophylactic protocols and the big advantage is you can get it OTC. He did say that if you actually get COVID & are treating it, hydroxychloroquine is what works the best - more powerful & I believe it has anti-viral benefits in addition to being an ionophore.
Unfortunately, pharmacies are practicing medicine without a license & asking for the “diagnosis” when they get a hydroxy/ivermectin prescriptions. If the diagnosis is COVID, they are refusing to fill the prescription. CVS, as a corporate policy that their pharmacies have to follow, is not filling hydroxy/ivermectin prescription & there are likely other large chains doing this as well (CVS specifically mentioned). This was talked about on Bannon’s War Room show Saturday (specifically Dr.Brian Tyson & Dr. Robert Malone).
No problem. If one is going to use these recommendations, they need to know what the dosages should be for each ingredient. 🙂
I’ve been taking quercetin and zinc daily since about May 2020. At age 67, I figured I ought to do something though I had never been much for taking vitamins and supplements before.
I was exposed to a guy who later went to hospital with covid-19 in December, and got PCR tested myself although I had no symptoms. A couple days later, I still had no symptoms but test results were positive for covid-19. I remained sanguine about the situation, but did begin quarantining myself and monitoring temperature, BP, and O2 saturation, I never displayed any symptoms of the Wuhan Flu except one day, after raking leaves in the yard, I had a temperature reading of 100.6 F. Obviously, I felt fine even then, or I wouldn’t have been outside in the cold raking leaves. Even though I carefully quarantined in the back of our house, masked and used hand sanitizer when I left my room, I ended up giving it to my wife, who did have minor symptoms of a mild cold. Both of us got multiple positive PCR tests before it was over.
Was it the quercetin and zinc that caused the symptoms to be so mild in our cases? It’s impossible to tell, but it certainly didn’t hurt.
I did learn one thing for certain: disciplined masking with drug-store surgical masks and sanitizing hands does little to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in one’s household. A stroll around a WalMart will reveal that many people who still wear masks and presumably believe they are efficacious are, in fact, very undisciplined in the wearing of masks. In practice, mask mandates are a sick joke foisted by petty tyrants.
JUST WOW!
Thanks for this voluminous detailed info!
I'd order if it was fairly durable to have (for at least a year or so).
Thanks!
“Quercetin and something else (forgot that one) is the “22 caliber” in terms of strength and should be used as the alternate.”
I saw that, but that’s NOT what the trials show.
My doctor had my family on all 3 when my son tested positive in April. (My wife was already on HCQ long-term).
My wife and son ended up hospitalized with Covid Pneumonia.
My other son & I got asymptomatic Covid.
“All three provide the same thing, allowing zinc to enter cells which stop RNA replication process. If you can get HCQ or Ivermectin all good, but I believe Quercetin is just as effective.”
According to the lit posted, Quercetin (#4) is very high on the list, Hydroxychloroquine (#21) was very low.
