And the answer was that, that is not the US mission...the US mission is to secure the airport...the airport THAT NO ONE CAN GET TO!!!

Because we have a bunch of feckless morons in the White House who put America and Americans last.
Our military’s rules of engagement are established by a brigade of lawyers; every proposed maneuver has to be vetted by them. And the honor, duty and sacrifice that once defined our military are entirely alien to lawyers. (Incidentally, have you noticed that all three branches of government are staffed largely by lawyers?)

British Paratroopers are having fierce arguments with 82nd Airborne as they are refusing to send out military escorts to get people out, so our Paratroopers are doing it.
These people in charge of our military are total scumbags.
Let the Brits do what the Brits do. If they’re getting British Nationals out, awesome.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Taliban are using our allies as wedges against us, by letting them ‘rescue’ their people, while making it PERFECTLY CLEAR that we try something like that, the many hostages will pay a big price.
What is the evacuation count for today of AMERICANS?
has anybody seen a peep on that subject? Here it is nearly 1400 Eastern and now pushing midnight in Kaboom and we don’t know how things are progressing?
