Right. They use cloudflare for DDos protection I believe. But the problem with Gab for the last few days is that they cannot handle the flow of new people coming in. They should have capped their registrations until they increased their server capacity. Now they are useless. They killed themselves.
Good point. I've heard the same thing. Think about what happened when FR migrated not long ago; it was down for at least a couple of days, IIRC.
Tried several times to get in but cloudflare network denied access.

My take as well. But ...
I always believed that only the website owner could delete their DNS address. If so, it may be that gab.com wants to be really off line while they work on their system. They need more server hardware to deal with the huge increase in their traffic.
