When Pence winds up his remarks, the moderator says, "That's a great segue into the next topic" (which she had not yet introduced. Kamala smirks and says, "It IS a great segue." How would she know what the next topic was and whether it was a "great segue?"
And she still got her butt kicked.

good catch..But I believe both parties have the topics listed in order...just like Wallace submitted to Trump and Biden. We ALL knew the topics before.

Everyone knew the topics - they were announced ahead of time and again when the moderator began the debate.
You need to watch the video. The moderator says NO ONE knows the topic or questions I will ask.
In order to come up with that crap about Lincoln which was not true anyway I’m sure she had to look that up ahead of time and finagle a stupid idea about it.

The Democrats probably wrote the questions for the network to make sure they asked the right questions the right way!
That article was about the President and Biden’s debate. The moderator on Pence and Harris said NO ONE knows.
They were both given the list of topics.
Try concentrating on Pence’s performance rather than unprovable conspiracy theories.
