No water? No problem.
A woman dangled a really long water hose from the 10th floor of an HDB block in Serangoon North Ave 4 to the ground floor just to wash her car.
And it's not the first time she has done so, a neighbour who took the photos told Stomp today (Sept 18). As strange as this may look, he said he's more worried about the water hose falling on passers-by.
"It is really a waste of water," the resident lamented.
Such an irresponsible way of car washing is not allowed, the Ang Mo Kio Town Council warned.

That’s one way to keep from having to buy a power washer.
I couldn’t bear to live in a place where I didn’t have a driveway, water on demand, and my own garage. Middle class neighborhood fine.
That’s your White (capital W) privilege showing.
Just outside Tallahassee they tore down three old houses on small lots and erected a few dozen 10x10 sheds. They are billed as micro houses or some such nonsense. I have roughly four thousand feet of storage filled with tools, equipment and building supplies. (I had to pause to count up the cars I own and I forgot a Lincoln Mark 8.)
Why would people live in spaces smaller than many prison cells? Oh, sustainable, or something.
The real news of this story is a woman actually washing a car.......
Waiting for the attack.....1......2....3.....
At first, I thought the photo showed the car on the roof of the building with no side railing. My fear of heights playing tricks on me.
That looks more like capitalism showing to me. he worked hard he saved his money he bought a house he has his own property with his own garage . thats capitalism you work hard you get nice stuff and communism they stuff you in a box on the 10th floor After they work u hard
It’s Singapore, BTW. Ang Mo Kio is an MRT subway stop.
Sigh, Karen’s the world over.
What the world needs is barbarian hordes: white, Christian, freedom-loving, barbarian hordes.
It would have plenty of pressure on the bottom end.
I'm not saying this is a good idea, just not an obviously terrible idea.
Great. pressure!
You remember that woman washing the car in Cool Hand Luke?
Oh yeah.
I told my wife I wanted to see her like that this past weekend.
I got all excited and walked outside.
She was wearing mirror sunglasses and carrying a rifle.
Wasnt what I had in mind.
Fastest I ever washed the car, though.
Great minds think alike. :)
Takin’ em off, Boss! Damn things is blockin’ the scenery...
