Was staying in Puerto Aventura. Decided to go to Cancun, since there wouldn’t be any crowds.
The three story mall was open but, there wasn’t anyone there.
Left because the scene was surreal and too eerie .
Went back to Puerto Aventura and enjoyed beach which empty.
Oh...No one I know got sick and died of whatever the scary disease was...

In 1993, NYC elected Rudy to be mayor. In 2001, they elected Bloomberg. Both were tough as hell on crime and NYC was literally a safe place to visit, with lower murder rates than a number of US states.
Then they elected Deblasio in 2013, and the downward spiral began, and it had to, he literally PROMISED to take NYC where it’s going.
The people who invest billions in our cities have to decide whether to pay attention to local politics. My guess is that they chose not to. They chose to build the kind of place that would have been fine and made a fortune in a city run by Bloomberg or Rudy...but those days were gone in the 2013 election. So, now, hundreds of billions of dollars, probably even trillions, invested in our cities without regard to who is being elected there, is GONE, along with our cities (not that I care all that much, but I did enjoy visiting NYC).
