THIS never happened in team sport.
You did not like your opponent, you wanted to beat him and his team.
After the game, sportsmanship was the norm as you recognized each other as athletes and worthy opponents
Normally I treat the opening game of the NFL season like a national holiday. But this year I missed the game entirely so I didn’t get to see woke posturing being booed. But I do wonder about how that small of crowd got that loud of booing. The network must have had mics in the stands.
Shame on the fans for even showing up.

The boo-birds were out in full force! How long are they going to be paying customers? The NFL-NBA are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.
Hope both leagues go down in flames. Greedy owners ripped off cities and counties for decades to buy them new stadiums full of corporate boxes.

They only sold less than half the allotted 30,000 seats. The NFL is done.
I think the players are just going to say, “The Hell with it”, and the season will be abandoned.

Our local news showed a clip of JJ Watt meeting with the press after the game. He said he didn’t understand why people would boo the show of unity the players did. Am I to believe he didn’t understand what the players were uniting about and apparently he doesn’t read the posts on his facebook page where tons of people said they were done with the NFL because the NFL is shoving social justice down our throats and have stopped being entertaining.
I certainly hope this is the beginning to the end of the NFL. Let’s see if there are repeat customers that decide to go to another game and boo. Perhaps they will finally wake up and decide not too. At this point, simply booing calls attention to this social justice, bLM crap. There should be no attention given. It would be better to do something else other than go to/watch NFL games and to draw attention to that instead. I believe it is called the law of attraction. Attention, good, bad or indifferent, attracts others to whatever is receiving attention. BTW, Trump uses this like a master all the time.
I’m hoping the entire NFL comes down with COVID by Thanksgiving ... preferably a new mutation of the disease that makes their shmekels fall off. :-P
