No, Nothing political about “bodega.” In NYC, that’s what people elsewhere call a “corner store.” Also, this is a heavily Hispanic neighborhood, most of them from DR (Dominican Republic).

The NY Post has be so politically correct since the George Floyd murder. All of their stories are about Karen’s or people not wearing facemasks. They also said at first the white guy at the Macy’s in Michigan deserved the beating for calling the black guy the n-word. They never apologized for getting the story wrong.
